Invega is pretty strong, but yeah the 1st gen ap's tend to have worse side effects, generally.I dont think Invega is a strong enough Antipyschotic to cause permanent side effects compared to old typical AP's.
If Invega is strong then good for me, I took it for 1 year I hope that 1 year course of treatment was enough to keep my psychosis/mania away for awhile.Invega is pretty strong, but yeah the 1st gen ap's tend to have worse side effects, generally.
Same with me, he sent me a link to a video of a guinea pig supposedly getting thrown but it was just a plush thankfully. I just barely noticed that he even changed his profile banner to a picture of a guinea pig lmao. He sure "loves" them doesn't he?This apsucks guy sent me a guinneapig video. Proves that antipsychotics exist for a reason
Seems like side effects of Invega to meThe thought of these side effects being permanent is terrifying. But from what I can see, everybody recovers. An exception being @dirtyinvega, but I honestly don’t believe him when he says he hasn’t recovered.
This is one of his most recent posts when asked about side effects 6 years later:
«Fatigue, stiffness of muscles to some degree, sleep don't feel well rested when I wake up, still can't feel nicotine fully although if i vape those single use ones that are 50mg nicotine salts I get head spins, mood. Kinda feels like Melancholic depression but at least it's no near as close to 6 years ago I have always thought that invega damage is kinda like Parkinson's disease.»
These aren’t necessarily side effects of invega and can be due to various reasons. The nicotine thing could be about tolerance, people who have smoked regularly for a long time don’t feel a buzz just crave nicotine. Seems to me like he recovered for the most part.
You just happened to find this forum today and make a new post?My last shot of Xeplion was about 3 years ago and i have alot of issues. I'm completely numb to outside stimuli, anhedonia (gotten better but is still there), no emotions, depression, brainfog, stopped producing semen (clear liquid), absolutely no feeling in genitals, GI tract problems. I got diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrom and fibromyalgia which i never experienced before the shot. My testosteron levels were dangerously low for a few months my doc prescribed TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) and cabergoline. My liver enzymes also got screwed up by invega. My doctor wants to put me on a combination of duloxetine, wellbutrin and amphetamines or some nootropics and lithium. Last few months i'm taking benzodiazapines for anxiety and sleep.
Could be. But my point is that there is a high likelihood of it being another explanation as well. We can’t know for sure. I doubt what he says because he seems to be a rare exception, why only him? Could it be in his head? Idk.Seems like side effects of Invega to me
If you don't believe me thats fine everyone has a different views. Even still to this day I still have side effects from the "Posion" nearly 7 years on.The thought of these side effects being permanent is terrifying. But from what I can see, everybody recovers. I’m glad you respect my view and don’t take it personally. From what you have written I get a sense that your physical side effects like ED have healed. Also, you had extreme side effects to begin with, like not being able to stand in the shower. I question why some people have a much worse reaction than others. If you don't believe me thats fine everyone has a different views. I'm not sure why I have had "Extreme side effects" to begin with and that is still linging to this day I wish I had a answer for that I truly do. I'm left handed and I know left-hand people brains are very different and work very differently! It's definitely not in the head invega is a hardcore AP. I still mostly suffer the same as before but less extreme on the scale of what I went through. It's definitely called invega nightmare for a reason and definitely has long long term effects on the brain and body. I'm sure there is many many people who are in the same vote as me but just haven't posted on the forum or know about this thread/forum.I’m glad you respect my view and don’t take it personally. Can you once again elaborate on which side effects you still suffer? Would be greatly appreciated.
Could you please list the spesific side effects you are still dealing with? Maybe with percentages of improvement. You probably have improved more/less in certain areas.I'm not sure why I have had "Extreme side effects" to begin with and that is still linging to this day I wish I had a answer for that I truly do. My problem (lower IQ, loss of thinking and speaking abilities, creativity, imagination) is solely due to Xeplion. And how do I know that? Because every time I received Xeplion, these abilities would be taken away from me, then they would return to me in a week to some extent, until with the fourth injection they were completely gone. That's my experience. As far as physical side effects, I see that almost everybody recovers. Long term sufferers often complain about psychological issues like mood or low IQ, blank mind etc, which may or may not be because of invega. I’m saying there’s a possibility of it being due to some other reason.
I still have sleep problems, depression, annedonia, akathisia no internal dialogue if that makes sense all related to dopamine blockage in the dopaminergic neurones most AP induce some sorta Parkinson's symptoms you cannot block dopamine receptors and not have "Parkinson's symptoms". maybe a improvement overall since nearly 7 years ago I would have to put at 60% improvement. I just dont think I'll ever fully recover it's just a fact for me and so many other people in the same vote sadly. It is what it is! I just gotta make the best of what I can do now and care for my son and daughter I could of "Knocked myself" but what would that do? Nothing!. that means invega beat me and I won't let that be me.Could you please list the spesific side effects you are still dealing with? Maybe with percentages of improvement. All I’m saying is that this is a mental health forum and we were all injected with this drug for a reason. It’s not a surprise that people here have mood issues and I personally think it has something to so with mentality. I’m talking about long term sufferers. I get that the first months after the jab is tough. Not trying to insult anyone, but I think it needs to be said so future patients can get different perspectives. Most of us have issues with our moods, it’s more than psychological, it’s chemical..it’s caused by Invega.
This is clearly a side effect of invega, that sucks.Invega is so toxic, that it stopped my period almost one year ago.
How long are you off invega, when was your last dosage. Are you on any other medication and also how many injections did you have?I still have sleep problems, depression, annedonia, akathisia no internal dialogue if that makes sense all related to dopamine blockage in the dopaminergic neurones most AP induce some sorta Parkinson's symptoms you cannot block dopamine receptors and not have "Parkinson's symptoms". maybe a improvement overall since nearly 7 years ago I would have to put at 60% improvement.
