Ketamine - "I lost my house, my job, my car - don't do drugs"

That's one of several things I don't miss about opiates.

IIRC it was mostly on opiates that I had a lot of trouble getting the 'flow' to begin, despite having the sensation of a really full bladder.

I think opiates were the worst for causing this although IIRC some stims, esp MDPV also caused this, and it would make sense if a dissociative like MXE also would, but I can't really remember for sure if it did or not.

Yep. Had many a happy hour or two repeatedly banging my head against the wall (literally) trying to piss on smack.


But like anything, your body eventually acclimatises and it's no longer a problem.

In fact, it's the least of your worries...
 
I can confirm the latter part. The problem wears off as soon as the opis are out of your system.

Not sure about the first bit tbh.
 
What on earth is in US heroin? In the UK the complaints are usually running out of veins and then getting lung issues from smoking it off foil. Both are long-term, heavy users.

The US dosen't really have gear any more its all fent, 'zenes and fuck knows what else. I was toying with the idea of buying a nice parcel of gear to keep and use occasionally in case it goes tits up here...but I think we all know how that will work out

Yeah, not everyone likes cocaine; between a numb face and being a total gobshite, it doesn't appeal to me either!

Well, as far as I could tell, the people I was with who had the (R) ketamine merely demonstrated the latter of those two symptoms.

I mean, they were nice people so not TOO annoying but still, being sat their listening to them taking turns to solve the world's problems became a mite dull.

Kind of interesting that the two isomers of ketamine are so different and people don't realize that the subjective effects of K (and I suspect MXE) are mediated by both NMDA antagonism AND DRI activity.

I don't know if that 2-chloro-5-methoxy derivative of K is significantly more potent than MXE, but I'm CERTAIN it's more potent than K.

I've had R-ketamine and didn't really find it to be anything like cocaine. R-ketamine s far more wonky and distorted than S-ketamine.
S is quite smooth like HD vision effect, until the psychedlic effects become apparent at say 125mg+.
Neither is remotely comparable to cocaine. I guess both are sniffable and morish. I find R lasts alot longer than S. Hole size doses of R could last hours for me, S usually only 1.5hrs duration for each dose then I'm back to baseline.

R seems to be better for socialising and doing small bumps. But a much less friendly K hole. Whereas S isn't as fun at lower doses, but has a much better hole. It seems to also take more R to achieve a hole in the first place.

S seems to have a more pronounced anti-depressant effect. Although both do help feel more positive in the aftermath either way for me personally.
 
What you got evidently was not well resolved.

It's true (R)-ketamine is longer acting than cocaine but as someone who hadn't imbibed, I was in a good position to note the objective effects. I don't think anyone took huge doses but stimulation and increased verbosity were very evident and they sat there until it was ALL gone. I didn't describe it as cocaine-like, the 4 people who tried it did.

Pure (S)-ketamine I cannot comment on, As soon as I tried MXE I decided I wouldn't bother with ketamine again. Purely personal choice, I had access to the instrumental data and so I've seen a lot of compounds sold as ketamine,

I guess I might try medical esketamine although none of the studies I've seen suggest that it's a miracle treatment for depression. A better option than atypical antipsychotics, but MAYBE amazing in a minority of cases, but not statistically.
 
I don't believe his doing that much, Ketamine & MXE got to a point after a few days where they hardly did anything to you.

I'm not talking a one off. I first tried K in 2009. I have had both certified S+ ane R-, aswell as racemic. Direct from the importer in many instances. I've also IM'd both S+ and Racemic vials. Although the vials are much less available these days.

I could see in a loose sense it makes the user more confident. All anxiety or worry is gone. Some people can become egocentric, and it is morish. Instead of that stimmed up euphoria with the coke though it's more a floaty/dream like sensation, which is euphoric in itself. With a tolerance it can become like a functional stimulant still. So I guess on reflection I do understand the comparison.

I found S+ really was a miracle cure for depression. Racemic also makes me feel much better. I get an afterglow from using either. Generally feel much less anxiety, more sociable, and motivated after use. The exclusively R- stuff seems to warp my head, and be more prone to bad/scary experiences in the hole. Whereas holing with S+ usually teaches me something, come back from the hole with some sort of revalations and drive to better in life. Racemic is still better for functional lines IMO as there is more body effect. S+ doesn't do as much in functional lines but then a few of them in succession and it is much more of a psychedelic effect on the mind.

With either Racemic or S too much for too many days in a row and thoughts become quite abstract/out there. I genuinely can't do too many days without feeling a bit insane.

I have read of people on here doing 50g in a weekend. For me any more than a gram in a day and I usually feel it on the body next day. Less is more.

How do you even get to taking 14g a day of anything, and not questioning yourself whether you need a break?
