Warning to everyone: it’s not the shot. I am able to confirm this 100% based on how I feel. Currently I have a lot of tension in my right leg and feel very dizzy and I get testicular discomfort at night. A week ago my sexual function returned then it disappeared and now I have ED.
I’m not on invega. It’s been a year I’m off. Stop blaming the shot.Invega injections do indeed causae horrible ED. I couldnt have gotten it up on abilify if scarlett johansen had come and sat on my face. So if your still on invega i would say it is indeed the shot
Is your body back the way it was preinvega?Yeah, it really isn’t invega. I’ve had a few days where my sexual function returned 100% and disappeared and had ED again. It’s not invega. We are on some shit list and getting targeted with drugs in a covert way. Trust me everyone.
It’s not the shot. My libido returned 100% then went away. The shot can’t do that after 11 months.
NoIs your body back the way it was preinvega?
Darn are you overweight or more skinny now?
Meant to say they aren’t targeting him. I understand what you’re saying I had a bad trip to. Invega destroys everything tho that’s fs.Please dont feed peoples delusions its litterally the worst thing you can do for them. When i was psychotic i thought the FBI was targeting me. That made no sense at all but i believed it. The government has alot better things to do then spend money and time on targeting people like us
I wouldn’t think recovery would start until it stops going to your brain. Check your blood manI am starting not to believe the half life theory. It might work for some but it’s not working for me. I’m almost 330 days off so close to my 7th half life and I’m still messed up from invega.
Ya I can agree to thisInvega has mad me a pretty big loser
Hows your body and looks?Ya I can agree to this
What improvements have you seen? Its been so long, it must be completely out of youInvega is no joke, I'm still suffering 2 years and 24 days off.
Oh thanksHow did it go? I would love to hear an update on your EMDR therapy![]()
That is really good to hear that you know that weed was your trigger and that you're staying away from it now. Weed is not good for my brain either, I have to stay very far away from THC.
As others have said, 5 weeks is still very early in your recovery. Please give yourself more time to heal and recover, you will begin to get some feelings back. It just takes time![]()
That is good you only took the oral version of risperidone and Abilify, that means they will be out of your system faster than if you were injected with them. But unfortunately, 5 weeks is still early days in your recovery. Please hang in there![]()
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Kiaf85 !!!Sorry I'm a bit late, but happy belated birthday!! I am so glad to hear you got to go out to enjoy yourself. What did you get up to for your birthday?
Please refrain from typing in all caps. It is really off-putting. Any future posts typed in all caps will be deleted.
That is fucking awesome of you to be doing that!! I wish you all the best with it. I think it is a really important piece that you are writing, it will be really beneficial to get your story out there for others to read![]()
@masamune1 please, no more discussion of being microchipped or being covertly controlled or targeted by the government. You are NOT making sense, as multiple other people in this thread have said, your talk of this is delusional and paranoid. Big red flags for entering or being in psychosis. You really need to see your psychiatrist and talk about this. But please do not post any more about this microchipping or government control malarky. It is nonsense. Consider this a soft-warning. If we see you make any more posts about this nonsense, fear-mongering, delusional ideation, the content will be deleted and you will receive an official warning. PLEASE see your doctor asap. You sound like you are experiencing symptoms of psychosis.
Have you recovered your emotions and ability to feel cigarettes and alcohol and other substances? For any one that claims to have made a full recovery from Invega, particularly guys, could you please tell me if your sexual function has completely return to normal? I've seen and read about so many cases of people that never managed to recover after several years, apparently even one person in particular that still had lingering problems a whole 20 years later, which was caused by a different medication but still. I've been trying my best to remain hopeful and positive but for the past few days I've completely lost hope of ever achieving a true full recovery. I'm grateful that all things considered I can still function mostly normal, compared to someone completely blind, deaf, paralyzed, or missing limbs. But even then I can never come to terms with the depressing reality that I have most likely been left permanently damaged, all because I just simply wanted to seek help from a psychiatrist, deciding to fully trust them for help in the process.
To be honest I haven't made the attempt to drink sufficiently since getting injected to know if I'm still capable of feeling the effects of it or not. As for cigarettes I've never really been one to do so, not even vaping, I dunno it's just not something I really ever felt too interested in doing. I do feel more enjoyment and pleasure from several other activities though.Have you recovered your emotions and ability to feel cigarettes and alcohol and other substances?
Yes, not at the moment since I can sleep typically 7 to 8 hours again but I felt that way for the first 3 and a half months off. I've mentioned it multiple times but because I literally couldn't even get a minute of sleep for so long I ended up suffering from a stroke. It should hopefully improve with time though, I believe it improves as the meds gradually leave your body.Guys I can't sleep. I just got off the meds 2 weeks ago and have a lot of trouble sleeping. I just feel restless and stay awake throughout the whole night. Anyone else experience this?
does feeling substances have to do with anhedonia clearing up. I just read thisHave you recovered your emotions and ability to feel cigarettes and alcohol and other substances?

Well I definitely haven't like tried rolling up a joint and smoked it afterwards but I have tried other forms of it since. And no, I couldn't feel any effects from it at all, at this point I wouldn't mind trying it again since it's been a few months since and I've made significant improvements so far.does feeling substances have to do with anhedonia clearing up.
