Nobody had anhedonia until neuroleptics/antipsychotics(APs) were invented!

Theory of negative symptoms is just what pharma manufacturer's made (and teach on colleges) as self protective mechanism.

Paliperidone mechanism of action:
is opposite of heroin, molecular structure is the same except they use Flourine which acts antagonistc and is very aggressive with much more lasting effects since it sticks to receptors and won't let go which also gives metabolic stress to receptors protein which aren't "unbreakable/unchangeable" thus causing changes which affect their functionality in long term even after quitting, resulting in inflammation since microglia will be detecting receptor damage and sending many repair messages to neuron cells, they also assist in replacing synapses and replacing receptors.
-------------------------------------

I'm 2 years off and still experience severe anhedonia, around halfways recovered from it, and still recovering, noticing some progress every month, especially visible every 4 months.
Do you know how long it takes the brain to repair itself from the damage caused ?

Hows everyone doing physically. Weight and fat percentage wise? I read that as invega leaves your system the fat goes away too. I wish I had positive news to report but I'm only 1.5 months off

Dont worry guys just accept what has happened and hope for recovery as hard as it is to do. Ending it would only mean you dont get to see yourself be sick in the future. Even if there are permanent damage done it means you're just gonna be a different person which was bound to happen eventually as we all grow and change with time. Just see it as an evolving process. Did you guys have any luck with your physiques coming back?

, my physiques are detrimental. I dont have more or less weight, but my back is really bad aswell as my neck. My face looks awful, and the hair of my genitals is starting to get lost. I have acne all over my back. Moreover the neck pain is too much

Idk bout anyone else but less genital hair is a win in my books. You also didnt gain any weight so thats amazing as well. Imagine you gained 30lbs on top of what you're experiencing and thats what a lot of us invega users are going through. I can relate to the neck and back pain for sure. Especially when I wake up. You're gonna get better man just let the healing take place

Here’s a post I found by @PhucInvega

«Now that I’ve been 7 months off the shot (I received 150 + 100 mg shots) I can certainly feel weed like I used to and alcohol is working as intended too. I’ve been drinking today and had 8 beers and I could definately feel drunk. The feeling didn’t last as long as it used but definately felt it. And weed works like it used to, I’ve been smoking daily for like 2-3 months now and I kinda feel like I can thank weed for my quick recovery, can’t tell for sure though. I’ve done some research in the past and found out that cannabinoids activate a protein which shuttles drugs from brain cells to the bloodstream, and from the bloodstream to kidneys, and from
kidneys to urine and so on. I still don’t suggest anyone who’s been diagnosed with psychosis to use psychoactive substances. I got my psychosis from using harder drugs and being awake for too long/not eating anything, so I felt like I’m on the safe side, and right I was. First month and two off the shot I felt so fucking paranoid and psychotic when I smoked that I first thought I got my psychosis from weed but that passed eventually.»

Hey people did someone try microdosing magic Mushrooms(psylocibin). I am on heavy antipsychotics pills right now. And microdosing works really well to get out of depression and anhedonia . Did someone on invega tried it?
