I just didn't understand the post, to be honest.

Although come to think of it, narcotics do play a big role in the series.

Remember how Michael the doctor used drugs to manipulate Lisa in Brookhaven Hospital? It's been ages since I played the original 1999 game. But this is why she drags him into the fire at the end, as Harry and Cybil escape with the baby.
