Need help quitting?

Half a gallon? Fucking hell.....that's, what, 2L. Yeah, that'd fuck anyone up. Good on ya for getting rid of that shit. How did you taper off, if at all?
I was so far into it I needed medical detox each time. I'd stay a month in rehab and within 2 weeks relapse again. This time I packed everything I own and moved to a sober living house

2.5 years later. Ive had a divorce, near financial ruin, started drinking after I had 1 year sobriety, have been able to keep it at a social level. I never drink to get drunk. 2025 about killed me and 2026 is a year for growth and good fortune. No idea if anyone will see this ♡◇♡
😁🤙

That's a great attitude. And maybe "white knuckling" it completely dry just isn't for you.. if you can honestly handle it being casual then who is anyone to tell you differently.

Things can go down fast and take a while to build as you are aware, so yes 2026, take control of it for yourself.

'grats on all of that. Keep it up and when you feel an urge talk it out with someone you trust maybe.

Do you reflect on what works and what is a trigger? Being aware of those is 🔑

Anyone who has the fortitude to beat their demons gets a gold star in my book. Congratulations on your sobrieties! It's possible the most difficult life change I can imagine! Good for all of y'all, truly! Keep at it!
