How do you know that Merek died? Has that been confirmed? This is insanity. Stay strong guys. I love you all. Feels like getting beaten over the head with a stick for 12 months plus LMAO. I feel for anyone else who is going through this.
Not that I recommend it, but dxm once a month or so has been helping me.I just need that physical sensation of relief and that serotonin boost every once in a while. It works for me. Js. Everyone is different tho.
I also thank God that I can feel comfortable saying this kind of stuff here - and that God (aka love - see 1 John 4:8) has seen me through.
I'm still having a hard time processing that whole merek situation. May he rest in peace.
Keep holding on guys. Even thru the shit invega puts u thru seek true love and u will find it.![]()
That's all true, but if invega is blocking your capabilities it doesn't matter any amount of practice you do, the brain won't process it. There's no need to rush these things, as long as he isn't purposefully isolating himself he will find the natural desires to socialize coming back around 12-18 months, he doesn't have to force anything or embarrass himself when social malfunction is beyond his controlWell you have to start somewhere and it’s true practice does help even if you disagree. I know you say you have nothing in your brain but surely you do as it’s evident you can formulate sentences pretty well. I don’t want to argue with you of your capabilities, only you can decide for yourself. Just the act of smiling and listening is good social skills to have you don’t necessarily have to always be talking. I’m sure this will come. You’re at a certain point now and you want to be at something else right now that’s not going to happen over night and how you reach that point is through work; just like in the case of building muscles. And your brain is a muscle so the more you use it and practice the more it will grow. We all have to start somewhere and progress from there.
Did you also have issues like us with socialising? That's all true, but if invega is blocking your capabilities it doesn't matter any amount of practice you do, the brain won't process it. It came back for me month 12 the ability to hold a conversation and make eye contact without feeling awkward and my mind going blank that is something I didn’t think would ever get better but it willDid you also have issues like us with socialising?
The anhedonia is worst IMO. Although I just experience it as normal boredom, I find it hard to stay focused and struggle to find relief. Best thing to do is exercise, but there’s a limit on how often. The lethargy is realWhy does it take so long for us to recover? Is it the half life? Or the damage done that needs repairing? Or a combination of both? 12 months of anhedonia and not being able to speak to people sounds horrible
Yes, I know how the brain works. But thank you for mansplaining neurochemistry to meYou know there is also lot of electrical synapses in a human brain.
You can not repair a computer software with disabling parts of your CPU. This is why you can not fix a delusion with tampering with any kind of synapses but rather you can only disable partion of the "CPU"/brain so it is physically not able to operate certain "software"/delusion, but this does not remove the cause of delusion/"impaired software" and it will return when parts of that "CPU"/brain become operative again, unless if it gets forgotten and not used anymore but core issue is still present, just burried deep down, "impaired software" that is not being active/used. Humans extremely underestimate brain and act like monkeys trying to fix a CPU with only using a chisel.
Chemical synapses are analog and they make memories valuable and more accessable, when you remove meaning from memories they are much harder to be accessed, so that is how invega causes memory fog.
Did you know that many neurotransmitters have affinity to different types of receptors that aren't their "original targets", noradrenaline has high affinity to dopamine receptors.
Well there you go, one of your doctors said that yes you will heal. And they are correct. That is a good thing, right? He convinsed me that it is not permanent and that the brain can heal itself
It is a dissociative/hallucinogenic drug, dextromethorphan, often found in cough syrup or cold and flu tablets.what is DXM?
No it has NOT been confirmed, but he has not logged back on for 1 month now after saying he was going to commit suicide. How do you know that Merek died? Has that been confirmed?
I just want to advise everyone of the dangers of prolonged sun exposure, please apply SPF50+ sunscreen if you're going to sunbake. The UV rays from the sun can and will cause skin cancers, particularly if you live closer to the poles of the Earth where the holes in the ozone layer are e.g. Australia, Southern Africa, the southern South American countries, then up north, Alaska, Scandinavian countries, Russia etc. I'm not saying don't go out and get sweaty in the sun! Just please be safe and apply SPF50+ sunscreenEven just sweating under the sun

When he's right and you're wrong it's not called "mansplaining".Yes, I know how the brain works. But thank you for mansplaining neurochemistry to me![]()
How were my comments on neurochemistry wrong? When he's right and you're wrong it's not called "mansplaining".
Interesting video about abilify and invega recovery in Spanish
I came across someone who took 10 years to heal via redditI am spanish, I ve spoken with him via mail, I know al that stuff in first hand, thats why I am so pesimistic. He says theres no defined time to heal from this poisons!!
Still waiting for him to tell me his case, but 10 years seems average for me tbh. I would rather 10 years than foreverI came across someone who took 10 years to heal via reddit
Judging from everyone's experiences in all 7 versions of this thread, 10 years is NOT the average time for recovery. It is very unfortunate that that particular individual felt that his recovery time was 10 years, but I would say that is rare. He is correct in saying that there is no defined time for recovery, everyone's recovery time is different. But just going by everything I have seen and read in these threads. In my opinion, and I hope that others may agree, the average recovery time is far less than 10 years. More like 1-2 years.Still waiting for him to tell me his case, but 10 years seems average for me tbh. I would rather 10 years than forever
No defined time? How many did he had? Did he recover? I dont speak spanish.. What does he say is the recovery possible?I am spanish, I ve spoken with him via mail, I know al that stuff in first hand, thats why I am so pesimistic. He says theres no defined time to heal from this poisons!!

Well I would agree with you but you have to be in our position in order to knowJudging from everyone's experiences in all 7 versions of this thread, 10 years is NOT the average time for recovery. You just hit me hard with that “felt that his recovery” because thats all, you can feel that you are recovered in 1 year but I am not talking about feeling recovered, I need a complete recover, an objective one, I dont wanna be able to walk, I want to run like I was able before. I dont want akathisia nor ED, I want everything fucking back!!Judging from everyone's experiences in all 7 versions of this thread, 10 years is NOT the average time for recovery. He says theres no clue to know the timeline, he says he really believes in recoveryNo defined time? How many did he had? Did he recover? I dont speak spanish.. What does he say is the recovery possible?
He alao explains really well its functioningHe says theres no clue to know the timeline, he says he really believes in recovery
Are u spanish? It is true, there is no defined time but that does not mean that it is permanent, he says that recovery is possible, in some cases in a short time other cases years.
