Matt Willis opened up about his 'really sad' battle with drugs and alcohol in a new interview.

The Busted star, 40, struggled to stay sober for most of his adult life after being launched to fame at just 19 years old.

During heavy binges Matt revealed he even left notes saying he was 'sorry' to his now wife, when he was convinced he would shit the bed.

In an interview with the Guardian, Matt spoke about the 'nights when he thought he'd gone too far, that he'd drunk too much and taken too many drugs.

They revealed Matt would leave notes for his wife, in case he shit himself. 'Saying sorry,' he says.

Fuckin right. All I can assume is she was getting seriously ripped off with some godawful shite.

I know that dissolution of the septum is a real thing with coke addicts, but I've never seen anything quite as bad as hers.

I guess if your septum falls out you wouldn't be physically capable of snorting anymore? It's hard to imagine, but there'd be no way to get any suction? You'd have to lie back and use a funnel or something to get anything up there!?

If loosing your septum isn't enough of a wake up call I don't know what is, but she was clearly so far gone by that point, I'm assuming she must have moved up to smoking or injecting.

Surely she did, but I don't know anything of her story beyond her loss of her septum and whatever looks she once had.

Fleetwood Mac are another of those bands that don't show the years of excessive hammering of drugs on their faces. Maybe they have all have paintings of themselves hidden in their attics that show their true faces.

There's a lot of interesting documentaries about Fleetwood Mac; in one of them Stevie Nicks talks about how her Dr gave her benzos to overcome her cocaine addiction, and that the benzos fucked her up way more than all the coke ever did. I don't think the word "ironic" quite covers that.

When people make quotes like that i just dont believe them personally, and if they are doing that much its a waste or grabage. Ive been able to get very high quality coke at points and even doing 3 grams in a day intransal was just too much and a ridiculous feat to consume. Ontop of it i was so twacked out it wasnt even as enjoyable as more slowly consuming a gram and then taking Heroin at the end to comedown.

Honestly i dont even use Cocaine unless i have Opiates anymore its just way to edgy for me and its a better drug to mix with opioids/benzos. Doing a fuckton of Coke and then just crashing on its own is such a bad time, like the depression which sets in after a big binge for me is horrible.
