Ya I heard about that they put these guys on CTOS since the system is so corrupt and the jails are filled to the brim they zombify criminals with invega so they can’t even get up to go commit crimes it’s fucked up id rather go to prison for a year then take 12 shots being on invega is like being in a mental prison anyway if im in jail at the very least I won’t have anhedonia and might get some joy out of playing basketball or conversations with other inmates, check this out.

I never knew it got picked up in the press like that, good catch.

That’s disgusting, I’m so mad at my old doctor for even introducing Invega Sustenna to me “oh there’s this new drug on the market I think you’d really like it, it doesn’t have many side effects” yeah right!

I was forced on a CTO yes but not forced on Invega Sustenna injections, half way through my CTO my doctor asked if I wanted to switch to Invega Sustenna because she said it would help me a lot blah blah blah gave me this big story and I agreed to it and then she wouldn’t let me come off it for a very long time even though it was causing tardive dyskinesia, loss of menstrual cycle, weight gain, weird eye movements, chest pains, blank mind, insomnia, anhedonia, you name it I had it. I would go to read something and my eyes would dart back and forth really fast all the time and just move uncontrollably it was so bad. I was in and out of ER all the time. It was an awful experience. 17 months of that I had to go to her office and beg to come off it.
Your old doctor sounds like a sadist too me I had also gone to the ER for side effects it’s insane to me how you took 17 shots without committing suicide I know I definitely wouldn’t be here today if they put me on CTO.

It’s always important to do research if you can and not just trust your doctors word unfortunately I couldn’t do that in my psych ward since we had no access to phones.

What is cto
Community treatment order, it’s a forced treatment where they force you too take anti psychotics and if you don’t comply the police come get you and you’re forced to take it even if that means they gotta restrain you and hold you down.

Oh my god

How long does cto take
Could be anywhere from 6 months to the rest of your life there was this guy who used to post in here @ions I think his situation is different then traditional CTO but he’s forced to take injections and he’s taken the shots for 12 years straight I think.
