Ya you’re gonna recover, you’re a young college student and you only took 2 shots I still felt like I was in the hell phase at 4 months off but it passed i am now 7 months off and 80% recovered and at this rate I know I’m recovering 100%, the brain is an amazing homeostasis machine and can recover from some really fucked up things if you only took 2 shots you will recover give it 2 months and you should see some big improvements most people report feeling much better at month 6.
Yeah hopefully, my main concern is the severe insomnia tho, legit the last time I ever got enough sleep and not just a measly half hour to hour of sleep was like mid december. Someone suggested taking benzos or smoking weed which I haven't tried, though I did take some CBD gummies to no avail. If this continues It'll not only slow down recovery, but basically guarantee to cause brain damage if it hasn't already.

Oh yeah forgot to mention it happened not immediately after getting the injection but rather the first time going to the gym after recieving it. It probably caused a large amount of invega to be released into my body at once therefore causing that damage.

Can you get rid of Schizophrenia diagnosis? I don't want it to stay and ruin my future.
My first diagnosis was temporary psychosis, but they changed it to schizophrenia.
Maybe in a couple of years from now I'll be able to appeal against it and say that I'm without any medications for years. I can also blame the cocaine.

I’d be careful with that, last time you questioned your diagnosis your forced treatment got extended didn’t it?

Don’t take benzos, they’re terrible for you and might even be as bad as heroin theyre more socially acceptable then they should be and I don’t know why I’ve seen benzos ruin peoples lives terribly, weed can worsen psychosis but if you were misdiagnosed you should be fine smoking it but I’d recommend not doing it everyday cause you can build up a tolerance and it won’t be as effective.

Yes. But what if I do that long after my forced treatment is over?
I'm pretty sure it ended last month but I'm afraid to ask my psychiatrist so he won't prolong it even farther.

I wouldn’t risk it tbh, they might be looking for every excuse they can find to put you back on forced treatment you can’t trust them especially after they were petty enough to extend your treatment just for asking about it.

So I'll probably never know if my forced treatment is over because I'll be afraid to ask.
But I'm pretty sure it is over because I didn't receive any letter stating that they prolonged it. Last time they prolonged my treatment I received a letter about it.
Plus, the psychiatrist called my father last year and told him that he thinks that the forced treatment should be over, so it probably is.

30 minutes of sleep every day is a worse factor for psychosis than benzos, weed or heroin ever will be

If benzos are taken at low doses for low period of time like under a month with breaks of few days, then they are harmless and wont even cause withdrawals. I had no withdrawals from them while taking 0.5mg during period of 1.5(or less) month, while having breaks of few days but with tappering of 25%-50% which wasn't even required because of very low dose. It has been a year or more since that.

No kidding, thankfully I'm not schizo nor do I suffer from psychosis. Idk what the hell was going on in my psychiatrist's head for someone to prescribe invega to someone that simply suffered from anxiety and not much else... Wonder if it's possible to sue them for it, doubt my case would be approved but who knows.

I'm 21 months off, wasn't on any meds during those 21 months. Had 2 shots of invega sustenna and taken total of 20 benzos in 0.5mg/0.25mg during 1.5 month. Here is how my sleep was improving.

Month(s) off | Hour(s) of sleep
1mo | ~2h
2mo | ~1h
3mo | ~2h
6mo | ~3h
10mo | ~4h - this is when I used the benzos
15mo | ~5h
20mo | ~7h
21mo | ~8h

When I tried to exercise during first 6 months off, I noticed worsening in anhedonia, akathisia, tremors, etc. Now when I'm going to the gym for hours. I don't notice anything afterwards.

Doesn't matter, 30min of sleep can cause some form of delusions to anyone, thats what they do in North Korea when they torture people, they dont allow them to sleep more than 30min-1h for a month in order to drive them crazy so they do anything what they ask them.

You can't sue them unless you developed breast tissue.

When you go to the gym are you capable of lifting as much weight or perform as well as you could pre-invega? In my case I noticed a decrease in strength to the point where I can only do a fraction of what I could, I also tend to get tired much more easily in general.

That what you are experiencing is normal during first 3-6 months off. That lack of strenght and quick exhaustion went mostly away for me at 6 months off but went away completely around 15 months off. I lift pre-invega and can do pullups but my strenght isn't yet pre invega.

Huh, interestingly I kind of have, nothing too significant but it's becoming increasingly noticeable over time. It's listed on their website that it can cause gynecomastia aka what you said so I'm not sure if suing is even a possibility anymore.

@CrimsonThornX since you are getting that small amount of sleep your brain does not operate at high enough capacity to understand complex stuff, keep that in mind. You can also get confused more easily and thus manipulated more easily.

I had mild gynecomastia during first few months off.

You can't sue them if you have gynecomastia and stopped taking paliperidone, you can sue when you are on it and having gynecomastia, but still possiblity of winning the court case is low because they have lot of good lawyers.
