Mental Health Coming off Invega (Paliperidone, Xeplion) injections v 6.0

anybody feel like after they took the injections they get hit way harder by common illnesses? Invega weakens your immune system I’m pretty sure, I got a bad cold right now and it’s absolutely destroying me, haven’t been to the gym in a week, I’m gonna push myself to try going today and just see what I can get done.

My mind just hurts so much, this is nothing short of torturous. It makes me want to commit suicide for some reason but I don't want to die! How long can this last for 😭😭😭

You don’t want to die for a reason, there’s still the possibility you can recover and live a good quality life again, the brain can recover from just about anything it just takes time it feels like forever while you’re going through the torture but I promise you it passes, once you make it through this you’ll be much stronger as a person.

Thanks man I really needed that, I just don't know how much longer this is gna last im almost up to my 5th completed half life. There's so much info about invega but I cant find any info on clopixol its fucked. I suppose I have to recover eventually it can't be permanent it wasn't last time

Ya exactly & you only took 1-2 shots so you should recover 100% no problem if you’re on the 5th half life you’re probably going through anti psychotic withdrawal this is your brain working hard on returning to homeostasis it’s a good thing brighter days are coming for you soon 🙏.

Just the part where you said mental health system is fucked, I would totally disagree with this, we've come along way with psychiatry. Before they use to drill patients heads to get rid of mental ilnesses now they give medication to calm the symptoms of psychosis and other things yeah they have bad side effects but for some they do help thats all.

I get where you’re coming from, but imo it’s still fucked, I don’t think CTOS should be a thing ever, people should have the right to choose what’s going into their bodies victims of CTOS often say they feel violated in a way similiar to rape but even worse then that, They also medicate people way too much for the smallest problems that don’t need medication and a lot of people report feeling worse after taking pharmaceutical meds I’ve heard way more negative cases from people I know then positive ones, not just from anti psychotics but other pharmaceutical drugs like anti depressants, benzos, amphetamines etc.

It doesnt have to be injections, these injections medications pills are way better if you knew what they did to people in the 50s with mental ilnesses

The pills can cause severe issues depending on what anti psychotic it is & 80% of CTOS are too take shots, ya Ik what they did in the 50s it’s definitely not as bad now but today it’s still horrible imo.
 
After considering it for nearly 3 months I finally decided to make an account here. I was injected with invega sustenna over a misdiagnosis back on the 9th of december of last year. I went from being a productive college student that worked part-time and went to the gym 4-5 times a week to being bed ridden, unmotivated, and nearly brain dead. Aside from the many side effects I'm sure the majority if not all of us are experiencing I was wondering if anyone is suffering from severe, and I mean SEVERE insomnia. I'm only able to recieve a few minutes to an hour of sleep each night as opposed to the 7 or 8 I used to get, and I'm highly concerned as I feel that my intelligence and cognitive abilities are gradually declining. If this continues for months I'll probably end up in a vegetative state where I can barely think and function at all. This feels like the worst kind of torture.

my dose of abilify got increased for no reason and now i get daily suicidal depression worse depression than invega did

for 4 months yes....if benzodiazapines dont work just smoke weed in order to sleep
