Oh I wasn’t belittling other peoples decisions. You can do whatever you want to. I’m just saying that Invega did not make me smarter

I still believe I’m going to recover 100% and that many of you will too but I’m starting too see where you guys who don’t buy recovery stories are coming from especially with more then 6 shots I’ve been doing research and I read from a pro anti psychotic site that “slow acting anti psychotics take 2-4 weeks to take full effect and even longer to leave your system however if it all leaves your system the benefits for reducing psychosis are still there for a brief period of time” this is cause it alters your brain, Invega actually leaves your system completely in 4-5 months by the time I was at month 5 I had 2.5ng ml in my system which converted to mg is like 0.03 or something paliparadone is super strong yeah but that super small of an amount should have no effect what so ever, the reason it takes so long to recover is because your brain has to work hard to return to homeostasis from the damage done by the drug not cause you still have some in your system, Invega is extremely neurotoxic and the more shots you take the more likely it is that you’ll have permanent damage, here’s a comparison let’s say somebody abuses heroin and gets brain damage from it, if they abused it for 4-5 months chances are one day they’ll recover back to the former self, however if they abuse it for over a year and get brain damage from it there could very well be lasting effects permanently, tbh I don’t hear many people at all who have taken more then 6 shots say they recovered 100%, it still may be possible to fully recover with a lot of shots but it can take 2-7 years, even if you don’t fully recover though you may still be able to recover enough to live a good quality life, with all this said my advice to anybody would be never take any more invega sustenna shots even if you recovered before there’s no guarantee you will again, this shits no joke I only took 2 shots and I’m not fully recovered yet almost 7 months off which is ridiculous.

I'm pretty certain it causes permanent damage to the brain of some kind, that's why I don't buy full recovery stories, especially not @paranoid android story, claiming to be recovered fully within 3 months after 21 shots! I think they didn't quite understand what "fully" even means.

It can cause permanent damage for some people but that’s not the case for everyone, I believe @paranoid android when he says he fully recovered he only took 3 invega sustenna shots, the other 18 were abilify which is 1/10th as bad as invega and he legitimately has mental illness so anti psychotics might not hit him as hard.

Well my sex drive came back about 110% it's like im a teenager again. My anhedonia dissapeared as well. My attention span has also come back and it's gotten better since i switched to zyprexa. Im also back to lifting weights again and im lifting alot heavier weights then when i started working out. I also managed to lose 5lbs on zyprexa so it can be done

Really unless you have a permant movement disorder your most likely going to be alright eventually. For most of my life ive ben able to recover from drugs pretty quickly. That includes rec drugs and stupid ones like invega. I have no reason to lie when i say ive recovered

unless someone has taken like 15+ shots they should be able to recover enough to live a good quality life again even if it’s not a full recovery every 7 years all your brains cells are completely different @iridescentblack took 13 shots of invega sustenna and said he fully recovered in 2022 with his last shot being in 2015 7 years before.

There are a bunch of people on Reddit who take Invega Sustenna and they say they feel great on it? They love it and praise it!
Can you provide a source for this? I’ve read reviews and everyone seems to say 1 outta 10, those people on Reddit might be from the invega companies trying to make it look good.

No I can’t provide a source, I just read the schizophrenia and schizoaffective forms and every time the headline Invega Sustenna pops up I read what ppl say and it’s usually something like “I’m on 150mgs and I have no side effects I’m doing good” and I just shake my head like wtf! I don’t get it

yeah nah I don’t buy that at all, my psychosis was severe and invega completely blasted me out of it with severe side effects, I think it’s definitely people from the companies who want to promote it they probably caught onto how the internet has nothing good to say about it and want to make it look better so people are more likely to take it.

I had 18+ shots of abilify which sucked just as bad from me and i still recovered. The brain can recover from just about anything. Some people are just defeatist is all

Unlesss a patient has tried just about every antipsychotic in the book i dont think invega should be given. I had thorazine and compazine and would gladly take both over invega.

I’ve heard you talk about your experience on these threads and here’s my theory on that, you were still suffering from invega side effects when they gave you abilify which is why you say abilify is just as bad as invega & abilify slowed your invega recovery down so you didn’t recover until 21 months later after the 18 shots & 3 months off the shots, most other people always say abilify is like 1/10th as bad as invega, I have a friend irl who takes abilify tablets 10mg and doesn’t complain about the side effects too much, she still goes out and is pretty energetic if she was taking paliparadone tablets that definitely wouldn’t be the case for her, I agree the brain can recover from just about anything too to some extent but not 100% in all cases of long term high dose invega shots, I do believe about 95% of people who don’t take a lot of invega injections recover 100%, even people with a lot of injections should recover enough to live a satisfying life but fully idk about that, there definitely are people who never fully recover that’s for sure but it’s rare with under 10 shots.

Not a bad theory. I can't say i recovered at all while on abilify but slowly when the abilify went out of my system i recovered. I noticed no improvement in sex drive on abilify or improvement in anhedonia though.

In either case i would never go back on either fuck that. If the zyprexa stops working im asking my shrink for loxapine ive read interesting things about that. If even give clozapine a go
