If you stop the abilify pills OR lower the dose to 5mg you will regain your libido in matter of weeks
It’s probably not a good idea to stop 15mg of abilify cold turkey he could get anti psychotic withdrawal rebound psychosis, I quit the 6mg paliparadone pills cold turkey after taking them for 2 weeks only and the withdrawals were brutal I still had some in my system from the injection too.

Don’t worry @UnluckyXeplion I wont judge you for feeling hopeless right now! Or shut down your opinions like others on this forum. We got shot with way more shots then just two or three. I got shot with 17 shots! I’m 13 months off and my new doctor is sending me for scans of my head to make sure Invega Sustenna didn’t cause early onset dementia! Due to the fact that my mind keeps going blank and stuff. We had a ton of shots! I haven’t gained my athletic ability back yet, or my fluidity back yet. I am still on latuda though so there is hope for you. You’re allowed to express your opinion on this forum without people bashing you. This forum has gotten pretty one sided lately! It’s never been like this in the past.

@UnluckyXeplion It’s alright too feel hopeless we all do sometimes Ik I did a month ago my posts were pretty negative I even attempted suicide twice, but I never said that everyone who said they recovered was lying, they have no reason to lie about that, you gotta keep in mind that posting something like that saying nobody recovers can cause someone who’s in the hell phase reading these threads to become suicidal you may think you won’t recover right now but that doesn’t mean it’s the same for everyone I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time I can’t relate too you as much cause you got way more shots … You remember @lifeline he was making so many negative posts in the v3 thread he took 5 high dose shots but 2 years later he fully recovered you should check out his story it took him a long time but he made it and I’m confident you will too.

Also I wouldn’t listen to many ppl on this sub who say they’ve recovered as it’s different for everyone like @OLDTIDEN thinks recovering is feeling weed again which is far from what I think recovering is, frankly that is the least of my worries. So everyone is different. You can’t go by how other people feel, it’s definitely a solo mission! Who cares if you can feel the effects of nicotine if you can’t enjoy music or simply sitting with yourself relaxing. I think in a lot of ways people on this forum have it really backwards. So be weary to take peoples advice!

I agree that recovering is more then just having your sex drive back and being able to feel substances if that’s all I cared about id be fully recovered by now but lots of people have posted in here that they fully recovered from their anhedonia they can feel music again enjoy working out etc I can enjoy working out and listening to music but it’s still not like pre invega yet.

Although I can’t enjoy working out as much I had an amazing week working out this week I can officially say that I’m ripped again, I have the best prs out of my whole friend group again I hit 240 on bench press and deadlifted 345 I haven’t maxed squat yet but I’d estimate it’s around 255 I’ve been skipping leg day too much cause it was too difficult with invega but now I’m hitting legs again twice a week which is good my energy is coming back even if you can’t do intense exercise anything helps start with a walk in the park after I got injected all I could do was walk 0.1 of a mile and felt no reward from it but I sucked it up and did it anyway all the hard work I did early in my recovery payed off.

If my ability to enjoy video games like how I use to passionately returns, then I consider myself somewhat recovered.
To fully consider myself healed, I would have to recover the following...

- Breathing normally
- Not being dizzy when I standup
- Libido
- Akathisia
- Anhedonia
- Feeling empty
- Laughing & having my humour back
- Not sleeping 10/12 hours a day. More like 8-9
- No cramps in my legs when I use the stairs
- Enjoy music again
- Enjoy playing video games
- Having excitment when doing tasks
- Focus & patience
- Overactive bladder
- Forming conversations & speech

These where all taken away from me when I was put on Invega.

You’ll get all those back once you’re fully recovered so far I have 100% recovered my ability too,

Breathe normally
I no longer get dizzy when I stand up
libido has returned
Akathisia has gone away
I no longer oversleep I get 7-8 hours now
I don’t get cramps in my legs when I go up the stairs
I can form conversations and have good speech just fine
I have patience

Here’s what I have not fully recovered yet although I have partially recovered all of these there’s no symptom that I haven’t made any progress with I’ve partially/fully recovered everything but here’s what you mentioned above

Anhedonia
Feeling empty
Laughing and having my humour back
Enjoying music again
Enjoying video games again
Having excitement while doing tasks
Focus

Has anyone change invega to abilify 200mg injection?
Many did...abilify is less worse than invega but it will prolong invega side effects more than anything. Unless you switch to tablets in dosages like 5 mg

Abilify what a shit drug...really

Has anyone change invega to abilify 200mg injection?
In dosages of 5 mg and below 5mg abilify got partial antagonist/ partial agonist activity . I even tripped off shrooms, krarom and other stuff when i took 5mg but anything above 5mg abilify works as dopamine antagonist blocking receptors fully.

2 months and five days off i start to feel effects of caffeine a bit...with invega this took like 9 months or more.

Topics on reddit keep popping up daily about abilify side effects but there arent as many search results as for example invega i think its because most people recover from abilify better and more quickly than invega.

I remember on invega lacking imagination this isn't the case on abilify where i can visualize things

When I drink some coffee which I do twice a month I feel as good as my pre invega self, I haven’t thought this much after getting injected but you know what today was a great day, I had an amazing workout repping 185 on bench press and doing 65s on incline dumbbell press, it was a sunny semi warm day today and I took a 4 mile walk in nature and it was a vibe I can definitely feel relaxed in nature again, I feel like peace and happiness is coming up soon for me, I’m almost 6 months off invega sustenna and I’m on a 27 day nofap streak + I’m sober off all hard drugs and feeling great, once the withdrawals from nofap subside I might be 100% recovered at 6.5 months, I’m 18 and still have the prime years of my life ahead of me I plan on going into trade college for pipe fitting which if I play my cards right I can be making 250,000 a year in my 20s.

You withdrawal from no fap for that long never heard of that one before how do you know it’s wd what are the symptoms

It takes some people 3 months for nofap wd to subside but on average it usually takes 2 months for me it normally takes 45-50 days, and my nofap wd symptoms are, anxiety, insomnia, depression, brain fog, lack of energy, inflammation, anhedonia, intense cravings too fap, and body aches, insomnia and cravings have subsided 100% the rest of the wds have decreased quite a bit but aren’t entirely gone yet, quitting fapping kind of feels like quitting cigarettes but worse imo & the wds are prolonged.

So sorry you had to go through Invega at such a young age man :(

Appreciate that ty, but better at a young age then later imo I had my parents to take care of me and I was able to take time off working no problem and just focus on recovering and the younger you are the faster you recover from these types of things going through a challenge like that has definitely made me more mature.

Yeah. Plus your brain is still developing which could infact mean that it will rewire itself and reach homeostasis at some point.
