Sure, we use to call them 6 packs in a pill. One Rorer 714 felt like you slammed 5-6 beers and lasted about 6 hours until sobering up. But it felt more like alcohol than any barbiturate or benzo. Never had Soma. But let's take a look at that, we have a pill that the powers that be felt was too much "fun" to be prescribed anymore. (hey I am a jaded bastard too but that is exactly what happened! Puritanical bastards)

I also had access to Mandrax when I lived in Texas in the early 80's just after Ludes disappeared. What I did not know at the time was that along with methaqualone that Mandrax also contained diphenhydramine. I did not know that till many years later, I may have learned that here at BL. I hate diphenhydramine. But I did use a lot of Mandrax to come down from coke binges before I resorted to heroin.

My memories are from many years ago based off of when I was much younger. But I think I can explain ludes well enough.

Cool. Yea benzos lack the "euphoria" that alcohol has. You're saying ludes has that.

Did they feel as dirty as alcohol in terms of hangover and side effects?
 
My Xmas drugs?
Kratom, cannabis, and copious amounts of my homemade eggnog(heavily spiked with bourbon+brandy).
Actually, my holiday eggnog binge lasted from mid-Dec. thru Jan.1 --- I'm still recovering from it.

I did a kinda extreme combo with x mas, I started of with 3g basecoke, followed by a candy kitty flip of 3 capsules of each 120mg MDMA, 2 LSD blotters, and some keta, followed by a g amp and finished with some benzo's and a bottle tiquilla and weed.
 
Bupropion, dextromethorphan, lamotragine, clonazapam, and uhhhhhh caffeine

Yeah, there are a lot of people alone on Christmas. I actually dream of one day having that experience. Love my family, love, my wife, but sometimes the peace of solidarity is a wonderful thing. As long as a person gets past feeling lonely. I think I could very quickly :)

I had a bottle of 8.5 percent beer, 2-3 flutes of cheap Champaign, smoked a bunch of CBD and kicked it with my Mom. Nothing too crazy. I prefer Halloween for taking drug drugs.
