Most excellent!!

The youtube page said it was recorded on a radio show in 1971. Our Mother the Mountain album was released in 1969. I love the solo acoustic renditions of any of his songs I can find. Thanks for posting, I've never heard this version before.

"Cocaine, cocaine,
'Round my heart and runnin' 'round my brain,
Cocaine, aw, you ol' cocaine.
I woke up this mornin', Lord, I had a hunger pain.
And all I want for breakfast is my good cocaine,
Cocaine, aw you ol' cocaine."

"I ’m dying, mother, I’m surely dying
And hell is my awful doom
Take my hand and
Press it tight for my heart is sad with gloom"

One of them night u know....
"
Oh lord i want you to help me
Oh lord i want you to help me
Help me on my journey, help me on my way
Oh lord i want you to help me"

Let s face it

I don' look like I used
Can't walk like I used
Cain't love like I used
Now things have changed
And I done got old
I caint do the thangs I used to do;
I'm a old man"
