  1. Psychedelics (39.1%)
  2. Cannabinoids (20.5%)
  3. Empathogens (9.2%)

4) Gender -

r/LSD - Survey results - redditors' favorite drug (plus world map, US map, and demographics charts)
Non-binary people reported way more interest in Cannabis and Alcohol, and less interest in Shrooms and Ketamine.

Women reported way more interest in Shrooms, men reported more interest in Cannabis and MDMA.

5) Age -

r/LSD - Survey results - redditors' favorite drug (plus world map, US map, and demographics charts)
The younger responders are, it is more likely they'll preffer LSD or Cannabis, and then as they get closer to 50, they're more into MDMA. Responses above 50 y/o were few.

6) Politics -

r/LSD - Survey results - redditors' favorite drug (plus world map, US map, and demographics charts)
"Right" people were more likely to choose LSD and Meth, and less likely to choose Ketamine

"Left" people were more likely to choose Alcohol

"Center" people were more likely to choose Shrooms, MDMA and Ketamine.

Communists had the highest LSD rates, "Green" people had the highest Cannabis rates.

7) Income level (self assessment) -

r/LSD - Survey results - redditors' favorite drug (plus world map, US map, and demographics charts)
People who reported lower income levels showed more interest in Meth.

People who reported higher income levels showed more interest in DMT and Alcohol, and less interest in LSD.

Most of these results are not statistically significant and are just representing redittors from different drugs communities, but the survey will stay open and results get updated live, so maybe we'll see more based insights in the future.

This is not an academical research but a tiny open data project, mostly for entertainment purposes. Notably, this study has not been an approved by an institutional review board as I am working independently. It might show some correlations that are worth looking into with a better quality research. The data is anonymous, and will remain open for any use.

The concept of Wisearch is to provide a non-acadmic statistical playground, with community driven survey and data visualizations. I hope that a more advanced version of the platform will enable decentralised, community driven statistical research, but let's see. This is the POC phase.

Thank you to Bluelight.org staff for their input on the creation of this survey.

Amazing data! Thank you.

Very glad to see LSD up there at the top. Where my Lizard Kings at :trippy:

I find the Favorite drug by Age/Political affiliation to be quite interesting! Also surprised with how low opioids are represented, although I guess there are some complexities to what designates a "favorite drug" and "preferred drug of abuse".

Thanks! This is encouraging. Yeah the 'favorite drug' question is rather simplistic. I'm thinking of creating a more in-depth survey, possibly about long-term positive/negative emotional effects of drug use, in a similar format.. Let me know if you have any ideas..

This is really interesting considering how the focus on all ends of media and harm reduction circles is on meth and opioids like fentanyl. I'm surprised how low the percentages are for opioids and amphetamines,

It’s been awhile for me in takin some lsd about 20 years been wanting to get me hands on some but worried it’s a lot stonger than what I recall….has the lsd world changed? And where to find?

Hey there, sourcing isn't allowed here.

If you want you can create a thread to have the first question answered, people won't see it here.

Street LSD is generally dosed a lot lower now than in the past.

I appreciate the heads up new to the site but that answers my question I feel a little better attempting to take a hit after all these years

Nice data. Looks like Oregon and new Mexico are the most opioid loving US states.

I know there is still real tar heroin in Texas border towns I imagine new Mexico might be the same.

Lots of new drugs now that go on blotter that aren't lsd like nbome drugs. Something to be aware of.

All drugs are basically some shit imitation nowadays of what u really want

Great results! Thanks for sharing this. Obviously the place you gathered the data from will have a big impact on favorite drug, did you say that this was mostly from reddit? I bet the particular sub makes a big difference.

NBOMes have been banned for quite some time now... real LSD is actually more common nowadays than it has been since the 90s. Where I live you can turn over a rock and find good LSD. I doubt I could even find an NBOMe anymore.

That said, yeah, there are lots of other drugs in existence that can fit on blotter now, so it's a very good idea to have a testing reagent to test for the presence of LSD.
