What's the appeal of cocaine?

And I found that it turns me into a total egotistical gobshite. Totally agree that methamphetamine & amphetamine are far better (I think that methylphenidate & derivatives are where the sun really shines. I could happily have 4-FMPH as my only stimulant)
 
IMO its a bit like nicotine. Highly advertised in movies etc as being cool but actually really shit.

Edit- crack aswell, i am yet to meet a good crackhead i can turn my back on yet know a lot of great users of heroin. Maybe its just the circles i run but i highly doubt it.

Well, 3-hydroxyPCP is an opiate and a dissociative, but beware - just a little bit too much and you'll find yourself in a place where 'Alice through the lookin glass' seems utterly logical...

How strong is the opioid effect? Like can you actually get well of this disso if you're an opioid addict or is it just some very weak opioid activity?

Well 5mg completely replaced my prescribed opiate (180mg/day, in divided doses), using that much every 6 hours. It did actually feel a bit stronger than my prescribed dose. Only thing is, don't get too fond of it, as any more than 10mg/6 hours was teetering on the verge of total dissociation. 1st time I tried it, I thought, "this is fucking good" and my second dose was 20mg. Really bad idea. I was staying at my mate's, at the time and he found me in the room he had made up to stay in, naked and gibbering. Luckily, he's well versed in what dissociatives do, and did all the right things. If I had been on my own, it may have not turned out as well.
So, yes, quite impressive, but get sloppy with it and it will really fuck with you...
 
For me coke is great when there is planned usage of alcohol, on its own I find it a bit.. lacking in a sense that I get this short lived rush (which is nice), but I've almost never get shit done when on coke; I can do random, mechanical stuff like cleaning, washing dishes, car etc., but serious intellectual work is not possible (unlike with meth and speed), I'm just too edgy and all around the place. I like it because if not abused, it gives little if any hangover, it synergizes very well with alcohol (I can't tolerate alcohol w/o a stimulant) and if you're a bunch of people doing it, you will have pleasant conversations and good laughter.

I don't really understand the appeal of being addicted to it; Okay, the first line or two in the morning is one of the best things that wakes you up and sorts you out proper; after that it's all chasing the dragon (at least for me), knowing you don't need a line, but fuck it - why not do just one more? (I hate when I become so compulsive).

Although, it is classified as a stimulant, I find it very different from other stims I've tried (Meth, Speed, 4-FA), with Amph it is pretty straight forward, if it's good. You do a good line and for the next 6-8 hours you become like a machine - wanting to get things done and most importantly - getting them done (even stuff you procrastinate doing gets done while on speed); With coke I make all these grandiose plans which never get executed because I'm too busy thinking about next line before I magically start doing stuff (which I usually don't).

If one exercises enough self control, coke has its uses and it is good for it, but for a person with addictive personality, it can quickly become a disaster.

I think ultimately what I don't like about coke is that I can't abuse it like, for example, weed which is 'complete' on its own; enough in a sense that if you have a good weed, you don't need other drugs to counter it's effects (like Benzos for Stims); also not being able to OD is a nice bonus.

Too much serotonogic activity makes people sit and bullshit, but nothing else. A good stim should be all dopamine & noradrenaline, with a soucon of serotonin - meth & 4-FMPH are the creme de la creme, in my opinion.
Mind if you want the opposite end of activity from coke, try desoxypipradrol: one 5mg dose and you don't sleep for 5 days!

The flash is really intense, your heart is pounding, youre drooling all over yourself, unable to speak, ears ringing, high in your head, really very powerful euphoria, staring out the window...

Is the flash all over in seconds or minutes? Never really got i into flash highs - its pretty depressing when you know you will be coming back down again in 30 seconds.
 
The appeal of cocaine is its ability to give many of its most enthusiastic users the insight that they are better than plebs like me - the majority of abuse I used to get from many of the local kids around here only started occurring once they were old enough to drink properly in our local which, combined with constant snorting gave them the manly energy to start calling me a disgusting junkie while out and about in the local shops. It finally gave them the balls to drag me outside and give me a kicking the last night I drank in there. Daily cocaine users have always been the most critical of my addiction as of course, violence and abuse is perfectly acceptable for real men but heroin users are only beaten in terms of depravity by nonces.
 
Thats just the braindead coke users - I suppose you would get more silly fuckers taking it cos its one dimensional like beer.

To all ppl saying you get edgy, jittery or nervous from coke; you never had good coke. Good coke can make you feel quite relaxed, it does give you an energy boost and make you talkative, but its fine to just be hanging in your couch.

The same to ppl saying that coke doesnt give an intense effect; good coke gives a seriously intense effect, the euphoria and ego boost are very powerful.

With coke there is no tweaking, no all nighters without sleep, you can still eat and drink with ease not too long after, no jitteryness,...

To me its the perfect drug...

Yeah, i think i have only tested low quality cocaine.
Some people do really enjoy Coke, The same Coke i have tried few times seemed to make other people talkative, quite energetic and chilled. When i shoot good meth, after the 20-30minutes euphoric rush, i become relaxed and really comfortable. And The feeling lasts. No need to redose after redose after redose. I hate to shoot at parties or with strangers, so i prefer meth as a party drug.
 
Yeah cocaine is too expensive. I also don't like redosing plus it's gonna clog my nose if it's not dry enough.

I did two good shots of meth yesterday and I'm still up going strong.

From what I've heard about iv coke two shots wouldn't last an hour.
