My fent smells like straight ether. Like cocaine is this normal ? And it’s blue
 
Pure fent shouldn't have any smell like most small molecule substances, it's very stable and shouldn't emit volatile substances which you could smell. Besides being so potent that any powder with a relevant concentration of it in itself will be dangerous. Likely it is what it smells like, residuals of synth chems and/or cuts.
 
I doubt that it's cut with actual cocaine, makes no sense economically but possibly some similar chemicals were used to produce whatever mix Swado has.

My experience with street fentanyl in powder form (a.k.a. fentadope, fetty, down) isn't that vast, but I've never encountered any on the East or West Coast of the US that smelled like ether.

Most had a mild smell, a little "yeasty" or B12-like, depending which cut made up the bulk of it (e.g. lactose, mannitol, inositol, etc.), since usually only ~10% or less is fentanyl at retail.

I've heard anecdotally that xylazine (a.k.a. tranq) imparts a strong chemical odor to fentadope when used as an additive, and that it also darkens the color of the powder in some way (IIRC).

This could very well be the case with yours, since xylazine is becoming widespread in many parts of North America. If you've tried it, did you notice extreme dry-mouth or a stuffy nose?
 
Actually come to mention, the dry mouth was out of this world. Stuffy nose, yes. I have only been smoking and sniffing this go round. I was an intravenous user but wised up and got sober. However I am heart broken and have fallen back into the black hole. I have got to pull myself out. I have my prescription of suboxone screaming my name. needing help and advice. I don’t want to fo through PWD but am out of money and need to work. idk what to do. I have to start the tapering from the dope so I can start the suboxone
 
Thinking about getting some kratom to make the transition. I think I just need some moral support and reassurance that it won’t be awful. I believe my body will be ready about 24 hours after my last dose of H/Fent to start the suboxone

I can give no such guarantee, but it will be a hell of a lot better than nothing, though.

You are stronger than you know. The worst part of withdrawal is thinking you're not strong enough to deal with it.

Put your big boy pants on... (I don't mean that in a derogatory way, but in an inspirational way)

I would guess that it was more likely in a nonpolar solution of some sort and you're detecting residual waves of this chemical (e.g. heptane, hexane, diethyl ether, something like this). That or it was in close contact with same in an effort to mask an potential odor from drug-sniffing dogs.

Keep in mind, any time you smell something, it's b/c actual aerosolized particles of that thing are wafting up into your nose. It is unwise to try to smell a drug as potent as fent.

I've been getting M30s which I suspect at least some of are counterfeit fent, some of those have smelled/tasted like perfume or soap. I imagine it's from being shipped in something like that,hopefully not cut with soap powder :o
 
I've gotten some of the same kinda ether or acetone type smelling fent a few time down here in the south east.....it wasn't the best nor the worst I've had.....but left Hella residue.
