2) I can't help but laugh over this cost of living crisis, the media keeps showing middle class white people moaning how they are starting to use food banks, they can't afford to shop at Sainsbury's & are now going to Iceland.
These idiots really did think the system is fair etc........🤣🤣
For so long they had 2/3 cars, had one kid with plans for another, took holidays to Turkey once a year, always felt the guy begging on the street was just a Fucking bum etc...
Well now they are learning how the system is set up they don't like it and they are going on like they are in The Siege of Leningrad FFS, when they eat their neighbours cat I may listen or deep-fried dog is on the menu............😉

So many are waking up from their dreams and they really don't like it.

I've actually no idea how food banks work. Do you have to qualify? If so, how do you qualify? Or is it simply a case of rocking up looking like Wayne and Waynetta Slob and demanding some grub?

There is absolutely no excuse for anyone who is, or aspires to be, middle class having to resort to food banks. They can make sacrifices, many people can't. Sell your Range Rover and buy a Skoda instead. Cut down on holidays. Does anyone really NEED to go on holiday more than once a decade? Cancel the gym membership you don't use. Stop Jemima's riding lessons. Sell off some of the expensive but useless shit you've no doubt acquired during your life. But DON'T go to food banks and take food from those who genuinely need it.

TBH, the media are no doubt exaggerating this phenomenon...

Yeah I got my cost of living grant and pregabs, zoppies and whiskey were procured.

I'm staying away from etizolam finally. I love it but it has me nodding off at work and will end up getting me sacked. No more etizolam for me.

At least with zopiclone I can keep my use to evenings only. I might go snort one now actually. What you reckon @Zopiclone bandit?

Edit: just snorted 10mg and I feel it more than the 50mg I've already taken orally since 4pm.
Anyone else use the 10mg Zopisign tablets. White ovals with a coating and quite small? I think tabs from these cheap pharma companies are fairly random im their dosages, despite being real zopiclone.

Also I really liked crystal meth. Far too much. I chased it on foil like H and didn't use too much, the rush from a big lungful of smoke was almost as good as crack, but the peak lasted way y longer. As did residual stimulation which I founded I need benzos or zopiclone for to allow sleep and not the urge to redose and stay up for days.

my mums across the road neighbour once complained that their land rover wasn't the newest sort. my mum replied 'you don't know your born' and left.

it is true that being able to make a sacrifice is a privilege given current circumstances. i doubt middle class folk are being granted packages from food banks cos they are means tested. we shouldn't be having to choose between what we can afford and what has to go though. its fucking bollocks. everyone having to make a calculation about what they can afford is broadly in the same boat compared to the rich fuckers who put us here.

I can relate, my Rover isn’t the newest either.

If one couldn't afford Sainsbury's but didn't want to eat from Iceland isn't that like, exactly the Tesco/Lidl/Aldi market niche?

It's one of the few things that I miss about living in Europe tbh; supermarket goods are cheaper and available with greater depth of choice than out here where what may be a common staple in Europe is an imported luxury good here

For example we couldn't afford to buy or shop here in a supermarket; we go to the wet market and buy per kg for meat, fruits and veggies; they are 10x wet market price in a supermarket and usually inferior quality also - and that's just a reality that's beside the inflation on staple items over the past 2.5 years

We do go to the mart for specific hard to find items alright

Is cheese eaten on the regular over where you are? Cheese while I’m sweating my balls off seems a weird one to me.

No mayo, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, tabasco, shitty instant coffee, variety of teas ?

Just shopping in an Ica opens your eyes that shit doesn't work the same all over Europe.
There's a reason they incorperate at least a weekly meat free meal, more often it's more than once.

Dairy is an imported fad - it used be horribly expensive to buy dairy here but it has come down in price over the last decade

There's always a few blocks of cheap cheddar and maybe a few camembert wheels in my fridge; and the locals have come to like pizza - even if they made it into an abomination (mayo instead of tomato sauce etc)

Mayo is here - but I make my own anyhow - much better

Ketchup is here - tends to be sweeter than Europe - I don't like ketchup so no issue

Worcestershire is here - surprisingly popular in asia - and you only need one bottle for like 5 years anyhow

Tabasco is here

Don't drink much coffee but instant more expensive than beans here

Lots of teas - I have my own stash from overseas that gets topped up every now and again

You do have plenty of shrimp and chicken on offer.
They get exported from Thailand to Europe.

Fish, Chicken and Pork are pretty cheap yeah - that Thai chicken is basically your standard cheap battery farmed Tesco breasts - around $3.50 per kg, I prefer the local "athletic" chickens which are a bit gamier and have more texture but less meat. Pork fluctuates from $4 to $5.5 per kg. Beef is $9 to $14 per kg for basic beef. A dozen eggs is a dollar. Fresh milk is spendy at nearly $5 for 2L

I don't eat shrimp and rarely eat fish because I'm a fussy prick

Had a LOT of edibles past two nights; last night in particular I had 100+ mg of THC distillate edibles and 60g+ of cannabutter in various treats

Feel like I'm walking underwater all day today and feel a little mentally slow lol

Also have an article due at some stage in next few hours that I have been "working on" since weds which I have yet to begin

Need to make a strong sativa spliff, drink some strong tea and get stuck into it

picked a fucking blinding weekend for a hiking trip to the lakes.

there is such a thing as bad weather, even when you have good clothing. i've got decent gear but tramping through the rain, which started at midday, until about 10 mins ago, isn't my idea of fun. we had a nice hour and a half before the rain started and visibility went to shit.

nope. i don't actually know what my leggings are made of but my legs were dry as fuck. they're this brand called sundried, highly recommend.

my coat is just a normal north face coat but its decently watterproof and i had a north face t shirt underneath also made out of material that stays very dry, but its not as effective as the sundried leggings.
