And yes, at the time - and sometimes even now - I remain convinced that it was all 100% real. It never occurred to me at the time that it was a delusion, i still cannot convince myself that it was.

Yes, logically the entire thing was totally absurd - and if they had sent in a team of spies and were draining the sewerage etc, then how come I eventually just packed up and walked out of the hotel and nothing of any kind has EVER come of it? The trouble with hallucinations is that you don't imagine them you SEE them and you HEAR them. They're not real, but they seem so. At the time, there's nothing unrealistic about it at all. I think for me, living in South East Asia, I get high with a lifetime of warnings about the stupidity of doing hard drugs in this part of the world so sleep deprived, overamped and with no blood sugar at all, it all turns into a very three dimensional nightmare and snowballs with force. Thank you for your response, I don't see how the neighbours would think anything more than a noise at 3am was just an annoying neighbour staying up late or whatever and roll over and go back to bed. Why would they care? It is peculiar though how at the time it is all so incredibly convincing.
Thanks for replying, it helps so much to hear that other people have had other experiences along the same line - and reading about it when it's happened to other people, I understand how ridiculous my story must sound to others (as real as it still seems to me). And yes, as I said in my OP I totally believed that heavy machinery had been brought in to drain sewerage pipes to find my flushed gear and that a three member team of detectives had been flown in from a foreign country to watch and report my every move through a connecting door in the hotel room. As another poster has said, why would they go to that effort for a single tweaker in a hotel room? It wasn't like I was carrying pounds of gear and buyers were coming and going. But, at the time, it was 100% real for me, and I am still trying to shake the memories of it because they remain real too.
I think too your point about attracting negative attention is really spot on. Once the rot sets in, it just snowballs until it's totally out of control. Overamped and convinced the neighbours have called the police (etc)? It's hard to put that out of your mind and just relax. It just multiplies itself and you pack worry and delusion on top of each other until you're hiding under the bed or taping the curtains shut with gaffer tape.
Thank you, that's a nice thing to say. I've always had paranoia around the edges whenever I've taken meth but never like the described experience. To this day I really struggle to convince myself that it wasn't real.
And very true. I've heard things, seen strange things, and been spooked in general after skipping a night's sleep due to insomnia - 100% sober.
No not really. If I’m doing it daily like I have been for the last few months of course I’m going to eat and still sleep a couple hours every night but when I take a break for a week or so the first time I use I’m up for 2-3 days we stuck like Chuck
