Mass Shooting and Gun Control Megathread

Using a rubber band will work like a bump stock. I don't know whatever happened with that. I remember reading about the possibility of getting in trouble for using one but didn't stay up to date

Wasn't that just the wildest excuse you ever heard from that chick in the late 60's that did that first school shooting. She came up for parole 20 years ago ( and every 5 years after that ) and she's still batshit crazy.

I'm assuming you mean the girl that did it on a Monday morning and used the excuse that she hated Mondays.
Thats the one
boomtown rats made a song about it ...

That is so fuckin sad happening again in U.S....and reacently talk with somebody about this things....just feel sad,but you must solve this somehow...it shouldn't never happen...Christ i have a kid too:(:(:(

Please excuse my ignorance, but I was under the impression that 'AR' was an acronym for 'Assault Rifle', or 'Automatic Rifle'. Is this not the case?

Also, I totally agree that the schools are at fault here for not having sufficiently armed security, teachers and fuckin pupils. Give 'em more guns, that's the answer.

Serves em right eh?
AR is an acronym for ArmaLite rifle. It actually uses a large .22 caliber . It's a powerful gun but the round is not even closer to that of an M1 etc.

ignorance is bliss ......you blame this tragedy on the NRA .... laughable.
laughable?

what's laughable is how normalized this is in American culture, and how a few Americans in this thread basically start glorifying guns in an offshoot conversation...

it's also idiotic to think the NRA doesn't have some fraction of blame for this situation, do you realize how many politicians are on their payroll?

I am not anti-gun per se, but such discussion requires critical thinking.... ignorance is indeed bliss and a bit ironic how you used that word.

Sincerely,
fellow American
