But bro why it goes so slow now, is it possible that it just jump to 100% recovery from 20-30% in few months?

As for dreams, I would say that they take at least 2 years to get back

When you could sleep at least 5h. My sleep is shit at 10 months off.

I'm having a very bad day again and relapsed into suicidal thoughts..

I fear that I will never have my old self again..
I'm at 6 months now.. Is it normal to have so much brain fog and not be able to think a lot?

Yesterday I had an event (friend's bachelor party), but I couldn't say or contribute anything all day.
One-to-one I can talk a bit (yes, is has gotten better, as I posted before) but it still far from normal.

I don't know if I can bear this for much longer.

Sorry to hear you're having another shitty day man :( From what I have read on here over the years, yeah it's not uncommon for recovery to take over 6 months. How many shots did you have altogether? (Sorry if you've already said, I can't remember).

most people tend to have sucidal toughts from month 1-8 months off. Yes its hard, I know, try to hold on doing something that can at least lessen your suffering.

Today i was so bored and i feel like life means nothing...10 months off so im still feeling like this ...this drug change my whole perspective...and after several months i took 300 mg lyrica ...it ease the depression ..i dont recommend it but sometimes you really need something like that...peace.
 
Hi! My name is Sasank and I’ve been injected with 3 doses of Invega Sustenna after a weed induced psychosis. I was initially put on 1-2 mg risperidone pills and as soon as I got out of the hospital I stopped taking it and smoked weed again a couple of times which was a big mistake. My psychosis came back and I checked myself into the hospital as part of my delusions. There they had me on some kind of order since it was my third visit in a short time and suggested I take Invega since I skipped the pills. I had no idea about it back then so said yes to it. I was injected with 234,156 and 234 mg I think. It’s been six months since then and I’m slowly recovering.

Yeah i had a weed induced psychosis as well. The psychosis always comes back when i get off meds so ive been diagnosed with schizophrenia. It sucks man i really regret smoking so much weed now. Schizophrenia is like the worse disease you can have. Only thing i see worse then this is blindness.

Thank you for sharing this is really helpful as I'm thinking of switching to abilify. Do you gain weight on abilify?

Hi thanks for your reply. I also regret ever going near weed since I was happy and content before that and could have avoided this whole fiasco. Some friends got me into it and then I started abusing it during the lockdown.

Sorry to hear that you have psychosis when you stop meds. Luckily for me the psychosis has not come back after stopping meds. So far so good. Yes I agree this is a terrible disease as the symptoms are hard to deal with and the cures make life terrible for most people. Coincidentally I was thinking the same thing about blindness as I heard recently that someone I know had it.

Hopefully if you’re on meds long enough you will start to see remission.

Hi n3ophy7e, thanks for the welcome, I am barely coping so far. The first five months or so I had brain fog and depression, lack of motivation, anhedonia, lack of erections and no semen. The latter two got a little better lately but definitely not where they were before, I’m still not getting natural erections. The brain fog has also slowly gone away. Just two days ago I had a bout of severe depression and just wanted to die. But yesterday and today I’m feeling over it.
 
Do you people have stressful moments while on this drug? How do you manage them? I had one such moment recently when my parents found out that I had a beer (I’m currently living with them and they’re super strict about it since the psychosis). My father reacted badly and I felt a lot of guilt, shame and anxiety about it for a few days. It used to really burn up my chest and I was unable to let it out due to this medication’s effects. I did manage a few tears after a couple of days but I felt like something changed in my head since then, the brain fog disappearance coincided with this I think. I’m worried that I might have permanently damaged something in my head due to this stress. Do you guys think that is the case?
