My doctor puts me on lamictal and he will off me from solian in may fortunately ...is there anybody who used or still using lamictal?is it any good?

^It's supposed to have little to no side effects. I think at first, they thought that it worked better for depression than mania, but I don't think that's current theory.

I'm new to this forum.. I've read through all comments and threads.
I got four injections and I'm off 5 and a half months now. Brain fog is finally getting less and I'm able to say more in conversations and to express myself more. Emotions are coming back again!! :). Life is getting better.. I was no longer suicidal from month 4.
What I can share which has been of help for me was learning a new language.. My brain has recovered faster since three weeks, since I seriously spent time on learning a language (Portuguese, daily 2/3 hours). I definitely noted a positive effect of it. It really sharpened my brain as it seems. I made quite a leap in three weeks, unlike all months before.
Still not able to read books, I can't absorb too much information, which for me as a bookish person has been frustrating. I'm reading strip books about history to keep on learning new things and keep on learning things. But I was glad that I discovered learning a new idiom. I'm walking 1/2 hours a day, which has been helpful too. I'm taking supplements too.
Social contact becomes of value more and more. No longer have to say something stupid just to say something.. can finally utter something that I really want to say in conversations. Well, I'll keep checking the forum and sharing a comment when I have progressed more.

how old are you? do you have anxiety attacks, panic attacks?are you on medication?

Who here has lost weight & how long did it take? How many months off invega were you & how much have you lost? How much did invega make you put on?
I'm so frustrated I've put on up to 17 kgs. I'm 4 months off on the 27th. Alot of people have said you don't lose weight until the 6 month mark. I'm getting really impatient waiting. I'm putting on 1-2 kgs a week. I really hope around the 6 month mark it will start to come off

I just ordered some NAC who here has tried it & how much of a difference did it make for you? I hope I'm not disappointed like I was when I ordered L - Tyrosine & 5 Htp because they did nothing for me

I'm on Lamictal, started it after Lithium gave he hypothyroidism. Was on 100mg of Lamictal for a few months but I don't think that is a therapeutic dose. My doc upped it to 150mg last month and to 200mg last week. I didn't notice much difference between 100 and 150 but did get a little extra depressed due to situations in my personal life. Hopefully 200mg will be a good dose for me. I have experienced no side effects from the Lamictal so far.

FYI my usage of Lamictal is to supplement Abilify, which I take to ward off psychosis. The Lamictal is supposed to work for me as both a mood stabilizer and an anti-depressant.

I took 30 shots, it’s been 2 years withdrawing I’ve went back to the weight (170 lb) I was at before I ever took mental medications 10 years ago, as opposed to when I was on invega I was 260lbs but that’s the only thing I think I recovered from within the last 2 years. I honestly just want the sleep back. I’d rather just sleep my life away.

Me too, I don't like it. You are brave to have lasted 2 years. I'm at 3 and a half months and it's hell on earth.

What if you cant have good and productive day.
I have no business telling people what they can and cannot do, but for me it means that I'm simply not trying hard enough. That silver lining is there. That next step is there, even if I'm walking in the dark I'll find that next step.

You don't feel as bad as we do
