Also true. This is a recreational drug site. So nurse Ratchet probably did Meth at one point so don’t take them too seriously. And definitely don’t feel like a fucking moderator of a website is better than you hahaha
Never have touched meth. Or any other stim. Was an opioid addict.

The mods here are great people. Nobody in this thread cares to get to know them because they never venture anywhere else besides the invega thread. You and the others have no clue about the great mods we have on here. BL has some members that think this is a recreational drug site ( and our drug culture forum is kinda like that) but we are mostly focused on harm reduction.

The Dark side, health and recovery, and mental health forums are taken very seriously. We don't allow members to come in here and post spam links and troll and insult people for their mental illnesses. We don't think we are better than anybody. Some of us are young, some old, some clean, some use, some have mental health issues. some don't. You really can't lump us all into the same category. Venturing out of one thread and into some other forums might give everyone a different perspective.

@apsucks can you at least feel something good from laugh because when I laugh it is mostly empty and I feel nothing in chest where you usualy feel part of laugh emotion.

I was joking lol I’m sure you’re fine.

Just an update on my progress parkinsonism mostly gone, I’m able to go hard on the rowing machine…cognitive abilities are much improved and I just hit the 14th month without injections. Recovery is definitely possible and I strongly recommend the gym or whatever type of exercise you can handle to help the brain with neurogenesis. My motivation has come back too with me rowing 7 days a week with the goal of losing 8 lbs of fat in 2 months and nothing will stop me. I’m currently prescribed dexedrine so that is helping a lot too. Hang in there guys the hopeless feelings are mostly gone now too. I know what its like in the thick of it fearing it will never end but it does and will. Sending you all positive healing vibes.

Hey guys,
I talked to my doctor today after my court order ended and she agreed to lower my dose from 75 mg to now 50 mg and give me seroquel in case I can’t sleep.
People from this forum are telling me I should’ve demanded that I’m not taking anything ever again and cut all contact.
Did I do the right thing or the wrong thing?
hey do you feel like invega redistributed your body fat and made it look uglier? Do you think this will recover?

Can you work properly, feel movies/series close to normal. What about your sleep.

Around 9 months off
It's super hard to stay in bed whole night trying to fall asleep and then only sleep 1h-2h also during that period I have restless legs syndrome, bad anxiety and arrhythmia, time flow is slow. Hardest part of the battle @Nurse Ratched.

It is also hard to eat.

Are you on any meds right now? Prescription or otherwise? Do you have any valerian root, benadryl, L-theanine, or anything to make you drowsy that you can take before bed.

Don't know how you feel about kratom but it can help you sleep and help with rls in 7 gram or higher doses.

Insomnia sucks. Had it all my life. When I got clean it helped with anxiety, depression and insomnia but it can be addictive if we abuse it.

It is also hard to eat.
Soups, scrambled eggs, applesauce, crackers, bananas, cinnamon toast, carnation instant breakfast, smoothies, pasta with some butter and seasonings on it.

Try and nibble all day on stuff as opposed to sitting down and eating a whole meal. Just nibble slowly on foods that are good for you so that you can keep your calorie count up and not get weak from lack of eating.

Thank you for advices. I'm off all meds for ~9 months and will stay that way. I have L-Theanine and will try getting benadryl. Any way to go without prescription.

@Hopefuldopeful so basicly from what ur saying is, your anhedonia never went away due invega. And you never truly recovered?
No what I’m saying is that. Invega went away and the lack of pleasure was due to the disorder itself. For example I tried to lower my Abilify dose from 10MG to 2MG a day and within two days I became depressed again and it felt like my personality vanished. Plus I lost my sex drive again and Abilify shoots it through the roof. The loss of sex drive is due to the depression I just don’t feel like doing anything.

i
Tbh a lot of the forum has people believing Invega destroyed them when they just need a change of medication. She’s right though. Whatever she said is better than the 14000 pages of the same people in misery. I don’t visit anymore unless someone legitimately has recovery questions. I would recommend staying away from hopeless members as they wish to dig themselves deeper.
i agree, I jumped ship months ago, I only get on this forum to post like once and answer questions the day after or so, too much of a pity party and negativity, Everyone thinks their life is ruined just being off this drug for one month, shit is a joke.

a lot of people on this forum have a lot of hatred and jealousy toward people who recover or are doing better than them, you can tell people 1000x time over you recovered and they will still not believe you, little do they understand that everyone is different and medication reacts to people differently. I was lucky enough to not have as many problems as most, and I’m grateful for that, but overall like I said before I stop coming on this forum because people just rip on you and call you a liar for being positive, in all honesty those people will never recover with that mindset, best advice too any new people on this forum is just too stay off, it will lower your moral everyday if you come and read the same depressing shit over and over again, so many other things you could be reading and learning about on blue light then sitting on the invega forum dwelling about it.
