Are homosexual natures created by nurture, nature, or God?

you know I love you but that's a terrible analogy. Mjall is not making a positive or negative judgement about homosexuals. You're allowed to have an opinion about stuff without having lived it. I've never been rich but I have an opinion about how much taxes rich people should pay. I'm not a woman but I have strong beliefs about the importance of women.

Human sexuality is complex. It wouldn't be radical to think that less than 100% of the factors at play are genetic.

Yeah, it was a bad analogy lol. Probably because I rarely actually sit and pre-think or plan my posts, just write shit off the top of my head :/

You can trust that I'm never going to try to deceive you or have ulterior motives when asking you questions. I was just curious about your opinion is all. Personally, I don't think it matters much whether I was "born gay" or it was somehow conditioned in me at a young age. I am what I am and have been for as long as I can remember having sexual thoughts.

Cool. Sorry if i was being overly defensive.

Homosexuality is obviously natural, as it occurs in nature (albeit not as often) and has existed since antiquity (romans, greeks, etc..).

I have my own personal theory, that nature intends for some people to be homosexual in order to curb population.
If there were no gay people, our population would be even higher.

I've known I was gay since I was like 4 years old. I didn't know what it was at the time, but I just knew that all my sisters older guy friends were 'exciting'.
But I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Also, the bible has been translated so many times & is obviously a book that was once used to control people. So it makes sense that they'd put divisive things like "being gay is wrong" in there, to keep up us from uniting.

I don't know what I am at almost 28 xddd

I don't claim to know anything about it at all. I'm just pointing out that you have no basis for entirely ruling out all possible environmental factors.

I've made plenty of remarks to try and convey that i don't represent homophobia and am arguing on purely epistemological terms.

My refusal to accept arguments that solely reference mere beliefs does not constitute a lack in desire to learn anything. That's bordering on insult, to make such a conclusion.

I have not claimed to be able to tell what environmental factors influenced my own or anyone's sexuality, and i have certainly not implied there should be one single factor, or even any known or knowable factor, that decides sexuality in any particular case.
your English is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than mine and I'm an English professor at Cal poly(eyes dart). speak your mind!! I was forced to be gay, but atleast i can fix my chopper and bedazzle it~wrist flop

Well, I learned English playing video games mostly when I was a kid. Then took some courses at the age of 16, I could be an enflish teacher but I lack the patience needed to teach hahshs. My last Job was as a medical interpreter.
Yeppp, my English is better than most latinoamerican people hehehehe I love the English language so I keep learning more and more errday 😊😘

Whichever mod anonymously edited my post: no. It was VERY clear I was joking and the "insult" wasn't even the joke, the joke was claiming adding a pleasant smiley to something change the tone and emotion of it WHILE doing that exact thing in a way which completely disproved my own point. So now, it was neither an insult, nor crossing the line. The rules here are supposed to be objective, not your own personal (mis)interpretation.
Would have PM'd you that (and probably worded it a little differently) if you hadn't taken away that option by hiding your identity
Yeah, it was me. I assure you I'm not hiding my identity. And I am not levying rules based on my own personal opinion.

Apparently I missed the "irony/joke" or whatever when I was scrolling through and saw someone call someone else a "dumb, rancid slut" or whatever the fuck. Doesn't matter how many smiley faces you put after it, or what the context was, that's something that could very easily be interpreted as a pretty shitty insult, and so I edited it out.

You can hopefully see why someone might have missed that and assumed it was an insult?

Either way, it's really not the end of the world, and I don't understand why some of you act like you've been persecuted by a fascist state when little bits of your posts are edited or deleted.

Actually, when it's time to "choose" our gender our genetics DO play a role. Not by make dicks sexy to a guy or vice verse with a chic. It's dependent on how well our secondary hormones take up their role. Some guys are born with little androgenic hormones that promote masculinity as do ladies with their respective hormones. So, if taken literally, it's up to how that person interprets what they are. But, you're not born a homosexual, it is a choice that some make and others don't. You can shut it down or let it free. I'm not gay, but I play one on t.v. j/k lol I know a lot of guys and girls who are gay (my brother and sister) who knew they were gay before it became the "in" thing. Those peoples opinions I hear the loudest bc there wasn't social media cramming who we can and can't be down our throats, or all the *ucking guilt trips toward those who let bygones be bygones, and because they aren't in to it, get chastised.

With twinkle toes Elon at the helm. How he ever landed a total babe like Amber Heard is beyond comprehension. I know she's there for the money, but after he gives that little squirrely giggle I wouldn't care how much he had. lol

It's no coincidence that tons of new satellites have been put by up SpaceX and the like in the recent years.

This is causing the rise in Teh gay!!

True! We're pretty proud of that one. I think our best recent move was faking the Corona Virus and convincing everyone to get a vaccine that gives you gay autism via a government-controlled tracking chip.

LOL I was about to pop off before I got the the jk/lol bit :P

Yeah, I think people mistake actually BEING LGBT+ as being increasingly common, when it's actually just that people have become more tolerant and educated on the subject and are more accepting so more people are OPENLY LGBT+ because they feel safer coming out and there's less (still some, but less) worry about being rejected or hate crimed to death/

We're good as far as I'm concerned 👍
I just think context is important.
