Hey, haven't been on the site in a long while. Had a decent period of time off drugs and in the middle of a bit of a relapse at the moment since a bunch of recent shitty things went down following a bipolar depressive episode.

Currently in the middle of trying to organise way more government support than I have for my disabilties (autism, ADD, and other mental health issues) because my government gives me funding for that to pay for therapy and support workers but it also is a source of stress. However I'm hoping with the review that is being done I'll have even less of an opportunity to use drugs as my support workers will be trained in the best way to help me deal with things.

I work casually, and I'm only using casually at the moment (though still more than I'd like). However once my legal stimulant prescription comes through I think I'll be right as I didn't abuse the trial I was given and it was really having it taken away which was the issue.

Anyway I'm big on harm reduction and drug culture and policy is an autistic 'special interest' of mine so I wanted to get more involved here.

Cheers

Welcome back. Sorry to hear about your recent stress but it sounds like you are getting your life back in order due to getting your meds back.

Nice to hear you are big on harm reduction. We have several autism/ADHD threads in Other Drugs and Basic drug discussion as well as a couple in Health and recovery.

Enjoy posting and any problems navigating just hit me up with a pm or post here on your thread. Nice to have you. :bean:

welcome back welcome back welcome baaaack

No old username, just had to reset my password. I only used BL for a few posts when I first joined then when I got sober I found coming in here triggering so I avoided it entirely instead of using just the recovery forums which I now view as a resource to help me
Bluelight can be triggering AF.

Hi, hello, welcome :)

Bluelight can be triggering AF.
It really can be. I was (and still am to an extent) an IV meth and heroin user, so I desperately try to avoid triggering places when sober, it just isn't worth it. However as I am using casually right now, any harm reduction I can add into my life, or things I can learn from the Recovery side of things could be beneficial to me so I'd like to stick around.

If your goal is to be clean, I might stay away from Bluelight completely. If it's occassional use, do what you think is best.

different strokes innit.

my goal is to completely abstinent and i don't usually find the recovery forums triggering, even when i was still in rehab and getting a lot of cravings i found them to be quite safe from that perspective.

either way, welcome/welcome back OP and good luck in your journey to sobriety. sounds like you have a lot on your plate, i hope you get the new support and prescriptions sorted.

True true. I would recommend that OP drop on in to H&R.
