Given the apparent infectiousness of Omicron, it's also not surprising that some are claiming that the rate of hospitalizations isn't a fair reflection of the current situation, and that almost 80% now in hospital for 'Covid' have actually contracted Covid while in hospital for other conditions and are not there because of Covid itself:
