How is the weather where you are today?

You from Texas or NM or something? :ROFLMAO:
I live in North Carolina now, further north, it doesn't snow very often, but we have hit record high temperatures this year like 5 times in the last 3 weeks alone. it should be 30-50f right now, but it's 77f outside

I did live in Arizona and Texas, though. 77f would be a very normal temperature down there this time of year

Man, do you know that I have to calculate all that shit into celcius?
subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9. Not like it could be any more fucking random,
no ofc there's only 10°C between 30-50F, why not.

It's most certainly real, but thanks to that whole..how should I call it, "American Idol" political system of the USA, it was used as a "Democrat lie", and treated like some shenanigan by half the population.. and you know how much influence the US has on the entire world.

Oh I know! I am a huge nature buff and I literally have anxiety attacks at night worried about how we're killing the planet and mass extinction of animals :'(

you should watch the movie Don't Look Up, exactly what you're talking about

Well there's different schools of thought, maybe one of them calms you a little.
First, since it is impossible to be viewed in a vacuum, it's hard to determine if it really is humanity that is causing global warming. Influencing it, sure, but the entire thing is in itself a natural process.

By which I mean the melting of the ice caps, which is actually an indicator that we are in a declining Ice Age. The earth has always been in much hotter states inbetween Ice Ages.

Global Warming, of course, is also used as a model to pressure people into buying "eco friendly" things, like electric cars. The fact that just building the battery is much worse for our planet than driving a regular car around for well over a year stays in the background, in the spotlight is "you're doing something good for the planet". That takes away much credibility from the entire "eco friendliness", just speaks for the insanity of capitalism as a whole, though.

Our general issue is that money isn't a sustainable concept. It corrupts all, whatever the issue. Oh, it's cheaper to make xyz in India? Done.
This is partially what got us into this predicament in the first place. Oil was fucking cheap, seemingly endless and effective. In turn we significantly increased the speed at which our planet is heating up

But I agree, sucks how we treat our planet and our animals.

It is getting better than it was. But I have been hit with weather bombs before.

Quite a blessing to have a comfortable climate and to survive random or dreadful disaster.

And horrible weather encounters ! 😨

Most of the world will have drowned 800metres of water ago, when I have to move my house :ROFLMAO:

I think the problem can simply be summed up as 'the rich are more interested in making money vs sustainability'

people are being tricked into thinking it's their fault, "carbon footprint" is a joke, even if every single civilian was carbon neutral global warming would still happen because corporations cause 80%+ of it

if you're interested, this youtube channel is extremely informative and highlights the issue and how we are lied to, how corporations have been lying to us for 50+ years, how they manipulate us.

great channel, it makes horrific information into a hilarious youtube video, I wish there were more channels like this, honestly one of the best youtube channels I've ever seen.

Heard a bunch of lectures on it from my fav astrophysics prof Harald Lesch
Don't ask why an astrophysics prof talks about global warming,
he's usually all over the map, but that's what I love about the lectures.

Last one I heard he talked about how all aliens arriving here would be blasted stupid by space radiation, and that this would explain why so many UFOs crash.

will watch it, thank you, it's an interesting subject.

It's like outer bands of some pacific coast pineapple express or something !

And here's my fav. but true..

The collapse of the Arctic Vortex causes all sorts of Climate Chaos. Unstable weather at random times !

And at random location location.

Plus if the planet wobbles a little bit too it causes all kinds of random situations all over and who know's next and where !

So stay safe and dare to prepare !
Very very volatile and unstable location.
Crazy weird and scary weird planet.

So lets all stay safe out here and keep it that way. 🐸😁

I'm actually huge on aliens/UFOs, it's a fascination of mine and I'm well versed. I've always been skeptical about how the hell would UFOs crash (there are supposedly about 50 reports of UFO crashes... of those, maybe 3-4 are 'credible', at least to my standards) if they are truly superadvanced technology?? If you can break the laws of physics... why would you crash into the ground? I guess it's not impossible... but sounds implausible, especially since it's been reported so many times. It just doesn't make sense... unless you follow the theory that a crash did happen and that the technology has been reverse engineered and most of the crashes are actually human made reproduction vehicles... lol

I truly believe UFOs exist, I've seen one myself, however, what they truly are? I think it's the biggest mystery in human existence, and I think aliens from another solar system are probably the least plausible answer. If they are alien... it's more likely they are extradimensional. The laws of speed of light is too strong (or so we think).

The US government admits they are real. The US government also sends out TONS of disinformation specifically on this subject specifically to confuse and hide their own top secret projects.

It's fascinating to me. I know they exist, but I think 98% of the UFO stories you hear are absolute bullshit, misidentifications. But that remaining 2%..... even if just ONE UFO story was real... it would be the biggest story in human history!

I'm actually somewhat of an expert on the UFO topic (I nerd out on it)

As long as our magnetic field doesn't flip upside down again, and it shoots us all out into space, I think we're OK-adjacent. Or the hole in the sun's magnetic field hits our hole in the ozone. I guess there's a bunch of scenarios where we all end up fried :ROFLMAO:

I'm of the opinion that on the day I die, I die, whether I go outside and am struck by lightning, or fall asleep in the safety of my home while writing something and end up poking that pencil into my brain.

I think the entire UFO thing tracks back to Viktor Schauberger and Die Glocke. There's enough evidence to support that the Nazis used his Tesla-esque genius to build these things, lots of reports and even old-timey(hard to fucking fake) videos on Glocke prototypes.

Once Germany was taken over, the US took hold of Schauberger. What did they figure out, I wonder :ROFLMAO: I think that there are some actual alien UFOs, but most are man-made, I am almost certain.

Foo Fighters were alien, though, I think. It's just too weird that they didn't even seem to have mass, but only be these "hovering lights". Too far above human tech, imo

The more perspectives I gain on humanity as a whole, the more I think that if a more developed civilisation would find us, they would treat us quite gingerly, and probably not even interact with us, in order to not disturb our development, until we have gotten to a certain technological or ethical threshold

fuck, totally derailing the thread. The weather outside is frightful

Thank Gawd for the shit weather bomb winter hazard day out there.
Now I have an excuse not to go out there and just stumble down the hallway instead.
I need to walk and get some air in the cold shower out there. Right.
It's just TERRIBLE out there.
With the wind all trying to howl and everything again. But um still skerrd. So I have another log on the fiyre ! 🔥
Be happy year now new everybody ! ☺
