She was gonna do a teams-meeting (video call) with me the next day. I heard nothing from her and tried to call her. I was told she isn't able to work for the rest of this week and will return on next wendnesday.

I resoned since i've been using clonazepam (with aup to 9 days of detection time, sometimes even more if heavily abused) it would be unrealistic for them to expect me to test clean on the next monday. It's the monday after that which matters. So on a couple of days when i've felt especially rough i've take 1 or 2mg clonazepam and am generally in goof spirits. We'll see how this goes next week but it wouldn't make sense to test me straightaway, at least expect to not give dirty results. Since i realized thta i've been mostly chilling. I've abused IV midazolam a couple of times as well but that i'm not worried about (detection time 1-2 days). Thanks for caring. :heart3:
 
I definitely have to start cutting my doses in half. Maybe just stick to my third of 10mg.
I am already sad. Beyond.

Hopefully I will be able to do this and will be helpful. And because I can nod teal bad on 5mg. now. 2.5 still helps me sleep.

This isn't life anymore. In the mean time I will try to stay positive.

God helped so much, I can't even explain it; now I need it again.

Depression is a bigger killer than overdose, I can manage without drugs, but it's a different existance.

I'm more productive without drugs, let's face it our productivity is the reason why drugs are demonised, but now I'm approaching retirement, it doesn't matter if I'm less productive than when I was young and my disabilities hadn't become undeniable.

In the dark of winter, when the stress of christmas is looming, I keep focussed on springtime.
I pick a random date and imagine it's a sunny day, still a chill in the air, but everything looks and smells clean after the winter storms have passed. I breathe in the sharp cool air and relax as the sunshine sinks slowly into my skin. Even typing that relaxed me!

Yep, that and prozac, buprenorphine, gabapentin and weed keeps the daily sads at bay. I'm not poster material for clean living, lol.
I tried clean living for over 20 years, my kids deserved to have all of me for those years.
(Edit; I wish I were as altruistic as that sounds. In reality, it was a deep fear of social services that kept me clean until my youngest was six weeks off his 18th birthday. Then I relapsed, sigh. That was supposed to be a three day bit of fun, not years).

Glad I'm back to being less useful but more contented now I've my use under control and a script from the doctor.

Stay positive, stay alive.

I was taking 20(2mg) per day of lopes, but it didn't seem to cut it. Do people do more? I take it all at once in the morning. Also, would a glass of quinine beforehand help the lopes action in stifling the opiate withdrawal?

Everyone here should read this.....
Loperamide works really well. Sold over the counter under several different brand names, the most well known in the USA is Immodium. It is an opioid, very long acting. Great for opiate wd and can get you high in excessive doses. I have used it many times to get to my next prescription.

The problem is that it really raises your tolerance for other opiates. Kratom does the same thing. I went from getting good relief on 10mg of oxy to where I am now..... 150mg oxy just to feel ANYTHING. Lope takes about 4 hours to start working and lasts for 8-24 hours. If your goal is to get off all other opiates then lope is the answer (Kratom too). If your goal is to get high then lope is the worst idea ever because your little opiate habit quickly turns into an unbelievable habit where you’re taking enough of your DOC to kill an elephant and getting almost nothing from it. And acute wd’s from lope can last months. It’s horrible.

As for combining..... It’s a mistake. Kratom and Loperamide both tackle your opiate receptors and render your other opiates useless. It’s exactly the opposite of what you’re looking to get. If you’re using lope and you try to add any other opiate, you might as well throw your money in the trash.

Loperamide and Kratom both are good for getting through a couple of days while you wait for a refill. More than a week and your tolerance for other opiates starts to climb and next month you will run out even earlier because you have to take more and more to get the desired effect. There’s a lot of information available about loperamide causing heart problems, but I have personally used 150mg+ for weeks and had no issues beyond constipation. AND the little lope pills are mostly clay, so it always made me feel like my blood needed a good rinse.

I get my Kratom online in bulk. Last order was 10Kg. It really works but there’s always a transition period of 4-10 days before I start to feel almost normal but I am able to go to work during the transition and still have a life. It’s mostly all I have used for several months now and I can honestly say that it has changed my life for the better, mainly because it took away any hope of getting high from my regular prescription. After a few months I started to forget how much I like oxy and that was a blessing in disguise.

Figure about 50-75% of your DOC daily dose. For me taking 300mg of oxy daily, I started around 150mg per day of loperamide, broken into 4 doses. It won’t make you feel great. It should lessen your wd’s to something more tolerable. Just don’t get greedy. A loperamide habit will make your normal wd’s feel like a trip to Disneyland. Just remember: On an empty stomach it takes about 4 hours to work:

Thank you ! Really great information.

The year I went without opioids I should have took Imodium but I was too far gone. So I got stuck on xanax.

Next round will be Imodium though.

When I was trying to quit completely recently these days and all I was going to take the Imodium for a few days and then switch back and forth to hydrocodone. And it does ruin the effect of the opioid from the chalk alone.

However I decided low dose opioid would be the healthiest choice so I chose the opioids.

But that was because I could, of course. My tolerance is low though. I can zing all day on 5mg's. And takes away the pain too !

Lately I enhance the effect or whatever that term is of the opioid with a monster or some kind of energy drink because they have ingredient that breaks through the bbb.

Amazing how good the effects are except for the fact that that the energy drinks are completely bad for my health and definitely are not the way to getting healthy at all.

I do need the help of being free to move around and function even from the least bit of my opioid medicating. And the sadness added to that is completely impending Doom.

Do you think a glass of quinine before I take the lopes is beneficial?
 
Normally lopes. Try to take 20 , 2 mg in hopes of lasting until next day. Then if 7 days until next refill, I reduce lopes a few every day

If you wanna quit right is the moment.15,mg oxy per day is nothing.you can easily unhooked,if you want that.As for loperamide i dont know.Have use this only ocassionaly as prescribed.Good luck!

I get gabapentin 300s, that dose at half hour intervals is the most the body can use, or so I've read. I take them for a mood lifter, I don't know what else they are supposed to do, all my doctor said was some people find them useful when they have chronic pain. So I use them as I find useful.

They don't take away the physical wd, but it seems slightly less bad and together with other things that make it slightly less bad, it's probably easier.
I can't say for sure, I'm not that good at the whole abstenance thing, yesterday I wasn't good at it, so I took more bupe this morning to make me feel ok, it didn't.
I feel sick and I want some sleep. Nineteen days of going the right direction, one day going backwards and I'm sick again.
Sometimes I just want to completely give myself away to it, often I want that, to become insignificant to this world of pain, then they can all move on without me, leave me here, to dream.

Edit; about gabapentin, ROA makes a huge difference. Oral doses are sedating and sniffed doses are more for waking you up. I take a noseful to kick start me into working if I'm too lethargic to think, maybe 200mg stimulates the brain cells for a while. Oral doses taken every day will have the opposite effect and slow the brain down until you're thinking through mud. Either way lifts your mood.

I forgot, one of the reasons I wanted to start following doctors orders and leave my DOC out of it is the growing level of hallucinations.

With my DOC, I hear music that isn't there, I hear about three voices in my head all trying to be the dominant one, talking over each other, as is the general habit in my family. I find them interesting to listen to.

Then without my DOC I'm constantly startled by the little movements at the edge of my vision, combined with the crawly feeling, I keep looking for the invasion of insects responsible, but the voices in my head are gone.

I ought to make a list of reasons and keep it handy.

90 mg oxy per day. Used lopes in past until refill. Whats a good starting dose. 50 % of my doc I hear. What would you recommend after that for 10 days. Max.
Does quinine before taking help? Lastly, will 100 mg gabs help, or should I refrain if using lopes? Any help is great! Hate wds
