After the first jab of invega that was given to me in 2015, I couldn’t get high from anything. I even turned to hard drugs for energy.

Fast forward to now, I can get high, but not an initial rush when taking the drug in. Like weed, when I hit that first toke, I don’t get a rush, but I still get high.

I’m hoping it’ll all come back…actually I believe it will.

Does the high feel good and last long?
 
Its disgusting that weed doesn't work like it used to, i literally use it for pain relief and now i don't have anything that works. as well cannabis is a spiritual experience.

true that bro. Opiates are disgusting to me now. And I used to be addicted to them. The high without the dopamine is just gross.

Long story short, I got my first jab in 2015. Then I was in and out of the mental hospital for years, with invega injections jabbed inside me every now and then.

That whole time I couldn’t get high from anything. Weed, coke, fentanyl, kratom, alcohol nothing worked.

Then in 2021(couple of months ago) I got tested for high prolactin and switched to abilify.

Ever since my prolactin got normalized I’ve been able to now get high off weed again. Just like with weed, there’s no rush when first hitting it with either meth or H, but I’m still getting high. I feel good using, absent the rush.

I was reflecting the other day after finishing some goofballs(H and meth)…and I realized I was so high I felt tremendous.

There’s just no RUSH atm, but I think combining St. John’s wort, with cabergoline and exercise will bring it all back

How can one get their prolactin levels down? Also can you get high on kratom again too?

Prolactin is one stubborn sonofabitch. Once raised, in most cases it stays raised and there's nothing you can do to normalize it naturally, par using medications.

In my case the switch to abilify lowered my prolactin from ~1060 to about ~62. After that I was able to get high off weed again. Man I was blown away when I got high, I kept telling my friend that I couldn't believe I was high and that I never thought I'd see the day I was ever able to get high again.

I haven't tried kratom again yet, unfortunately in my country it's easier to score H than it is to buy kratom... 🤷🏽‍♂️

Shouldn’t just stopping getting the injections allow the levels to normalize like it did with you?

Aripiprazole(abilify) lowers prolactin.

"Hyperprolactinemia is a troublesome adverse effect of antipsychotics. Aripiprazole (ARP), which is one of second-generation antipsychotics, has been reported to lower serum prolactin (PRL) levels."

My prolactin levels were normalized not because of stopping Invega, but because the doctor purposely put me on abilify because it normalizes prolactin.

Trust me bro I had high prolactin since 2015, you gotta use meds 95% of the time to lower it cause it just sticks floating around in your body.

That’s weird that prolactin is the cause of not getting high. Do you have to remain on the ability to keep the levels low or once it lowers them you can stop the med?

Man I've personally given up on AP's.

You got a point though. I don't know if my prolactin will go back up since the last Invega injection I got was the 3 month trinza version.


Either way I'm going to use Cabergoline, and that lowers prolactin too.

Edit: man I was soo fucked up when I had high prolactin. Mind, body & soul everything was totally fucked. It was such a dark time.

What are symptoms of high prolactin?
 
I just moved to a new area and I dont have any connects, but i had a plug that ran this traphouse in the hood and he always have the best weed, I remember one puff and my whole house would stink like a onion, while I was on invega I was buying weed from him and some batches would hit different in my level of highnes, he had some exotics from BC Canada, I remember I got taxed on it but I'd, I remember one puff took me to the moon.
