Misc Ketamine having no effect

As far as I'm aware, I have no tolerance. Only other time I did ket was four days prior from the same source - tiny bump about a third of the size of a graphite pencil tip - and also felt nothing. I originally assumed it was just the low dose, so last night I snorted a bigger bump - about the size of a fully sharpened pencil tip. Felt nothing other than the postnasal drip. After 15 min I had another. Still nothing after an hour.

Before anyone says it was bunk, I'm pretty sure it was legit because it wasn't just some random powder. I got it in shard form from a trusted vendor and crushed it up myself. I don't know the exact doses - it was an unweighted baggie he gave me as a favour, not an official deal.

Is there something I'm doing wrong regarding ROA or potentiation? My experience is minimal but I'm sure that's obvious from my post.

I can’t convert pencil tips into milligrams so I’m not sure how much you really had. I’ve only had ketamine a dozen times and usually on top of something else but it seems to me there is a tipping point under which you feel nothing and over which you’re spinning. Then another tipping point over which you are holing. With no tolerance I was spinning on 50 mg to begin with which moved up to about 80 mg over a week and four more nights on it. Holing took about 150 mg and over up to 200 mg.

Maybe you are under dosing?. I recommend investing in scales.

MSG looks exactly like ket shards. It's very likely this is what you had.
It's either bunk or you are an atypical responder towards it and need a higher dose than is typical to get the same effect or you just wasn't taking enough because you didn't bother to use scales.

I've had a similar experience with DCK. First bag was pleasant. SEcond bag was bunk except for one bump that was difficult to snort cuz my nose was clogged. Same vendor, but way different in potency.

Im trying to visualize a pencil tip but it sounds like 10mg. If it were say 70% pure its not surprising you didn't feel it.

That's disappointing. Could be the guy my vendor got it from ripped him off. Goes to show you can't trust anyone.

That said, I would not put being an atypical responder past my body. I can chug shots of espresso til I'm pissing like a fish and feel nothing. When I was in hospital for an OD several years back they pushed morphine once and I don't recall feeling a noticeable difference in pain level. To be fair, my memory of that time is hazy, but in any case I wasn't impressed with the effects. More recently I had three 5/325 percs (no tolerance) and felt the slightest fuzziness, but those were four years expired.

Just lost my job and don't currently have the luxury of purchasing a scale so I make do with start low go slow. Never bothered testing before - at risk of sounding puerile or edgy - I honestly couldn't be bothered. If something contains fent and I drop dead, so be it, you know?

If only they would legalize this shit, then we wouldn't have inconsistency issues and all this other crap that causes people to accidentally OD. Like how carts now come with THC and CBD % lab results in the legal states. People know what they're getting so no unwanted surprises.

Could be. Standard no 2 pencil, the size of the graphite tip after you sharpen it. Assuming it was low potency and the size bump described is around 10 mg, how much would I need to feel it? Talking bare minimum effects. FWIW I'm 65 kg. Not aiming to k-hole but if I end up there accidentally I won't complain haha.

Yeah, not at the level of everyday consumer, only for highly specialized and regulated treatments which you have to qualify for, assuming you can pay out of pocket. So pretty much useless for the majority of users.

Ketamine isn't very potent, you need to be approaching the 100mg mark. As Perforated said, get some scales and forget pencils

Noted, thank you. Any particular scales you'd recommend - especially on a budget? I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Don't think the bit I have left is anywhere near 100. Will try again soon and report back. Much as I'd rather do it now, I've a rule for myself don't do the same drug two days in a row. I like to maintain my little fantasy that everything is perfectly fine.

You can get scales that will weigh to the nearest mg for £20 from ebay or amazon. I prefer ebay as its not funding some rich cunt to go on a jolly into space for 5 minutes.

You'll probably want to try 4-5x that amount.

Drug tests can be bought from organisations like bunkpolice.com or dancesafe or in the EU protest.eu. Some of these places ship to other countries.

You are best off buying a complete test kit not just a ketamine kit so you can test for other substances also .

You mean like the percentage purity of the substance? Not that I know of, as far as things the layman can get.

Just the presence with reagent kits. However there is a lab in Europe that will do mail-in anonymous quantitative testing of the substance for euro 100 I think. https://energycontrol-international.org/donations/. I’d use them if I was using a substance from the same source regularly. Although dealers at all levels sell different batches with different chemical compositions and cuts over time.
