Even in his prime Lily was pretty out there.

Also if one is trying to act in the interest of public health (let's use a different issue like 5g being harmful to people), debating conspiracy theorists will spread the misinformation to many more people than will be convinced to believe in it. Shit, there are plenty of folks who would paint their faces blue if Fauci/the government said not to do that.


The myocarditis thing is very likely real.
This article was on the front page of Science last week. It seems to occur in young males below 24.

i just still don't understand why if anyone is concerned about heart disease they would actively choose to be at a higher risk of a vaccine preventable disease that is known to have serious cardiac complications at orders of magnitude higher rates. to even think its an argument you have to willfully misinterpret the stats to minimise the risk of covid and maximise that of the vaccines.

anti vaxxers even made it into the linux kernal discussions thank fuck for linus torvalds.

i had a refreshing experience with a lab leak-theorist on facebook the other day. they were actually able to present me with sources and answer my objections instead of telling me to stop listening to the chinese government or being straight up insulting or patronising. as a result i now believe there is reason to investigate further, but note that many of the WIV's western collaborators have explicitly said they don't think the lab leak is likely. as they are the experts in this case, i defer to them.

I don't think children should be vaccinated against COVID. There's no way in living fuck I'm going to vaccinate my two year old daughter any time in the near future.

I mean you can say that but it's 100% conjecture to say that this vaccine is stealing peoples' souls and turning them into automatons... removing their etheric bodies, whatever that actually even means. Ridiculous conjecture IMO.
