Why Christianity is a false religion

Exactly. I mean I count myself fortunate that I didn't have a faith-believing bone in my body or else I could've wound up mixed up about life. I can't help that I was baptized as a baby but it didn't mean anything to me and I still thought being forced to go to church was wrong. The only thing I didn't mind was Bible study but that's because I like to learn but I did all of that on my own and not by listening to what others thought

What is wrong with accepting the positive tenets of a religion.. and discarding the negatives?

Could help you in the long run, I feel..
That is the right thing to do, but it is not what the mainstream religions do.

They retain homophobia and misogyny.

One can cherrypick ideas and stuff that seems good but you have to wonder if those ideas actually come from a religion or if they were simply added to it from the surrounding culture. I mean when you look at Paul's writings, it's pretty clear which concepts are his and which ones are historical

Any religion that preaches that a genocidal god with homophobia and misogynous is good, has to be satanic.

I think all moral thinkers will agree.

Any religion is just a filter of the real god that is transcendent and has no boundaries and cannot be limited to a single ideology. It filters through the group of people or society that created the religion and the time period that it was created. So in a way all religions are a false religion and will undoubtedly have a certain amount of inconsistencies and contradictions and traditional input.

Ahh, the idea that we were all created/from the same source..

But live our lives subjectively.. differently.

I like the idea that religion is a 'filter' for this!

of the real god
That is a fiction, unless you are claiming telepathic communication with whatever god you want to believe exists.

Tell us of this revelation and apotheosis.

The ancients used to think that anyone talking to god was either gifted or insane.

I think telepaths like you and I would have to say it is a gift. Right?

Given that the source is a rather satanic Character, and even though the bible demands an objective following, I am please that Christians do not walk their biblical talk anymore.

If they did, the jails would be even more crowded.

Thanks god atheism and secularism have won the god wars.

I believe in the god that everyone else believes in. Because there is only one. However I do not limit or minimize my view on the real god with any kind of rigid fragmented version of god that is presented through the various religions and ideologies that have been created throughout history.

Everyone knows of the real god but they refuse to let go of their socialized beliefs of what they think god should be like. Fear holds everyone in a stronghold that prevents them from realizing that the real god is togetherness and accepting that which you hate as part of yourself and treating it with compassion to create true and genuine healing for society. Religions are the opposite of that and promote judgement and separation and demonization and fear. That which is what they call the devil. They do not understand how much of the devil they have in them because they believe that they are so godly and that they are on the right side.

But god sees things through ALL eyes. Not just the people who you think are “good” people. so any attempt that is made to push something away from yourself will just push you further away from true enlightenment and recognition of the true potential of what we call god.

I don’t see it as being telepathic because the knowing is already there in everyone. They just have to make the decision to know and have the faith and belief that they are able to know. But everyone was born in a fake world and so they were born to believe that they are not able to know and to resist their true nature and indulge in a state of constant avoidance and denial of everything around them so as to create a self defense mechanism that keeps them from dealing with the underground of their consciousness. Things that they have considered evil and immoral and have completely turned themselves off to.

Not to mention that almost everything around us is designed to kill us and to lower our brain levels and cause diseases and illness and confusion and fear and heavy ness on the mind. So naturally it will be much easier for a young child to fall into the same destructive cycles as their preceding generations of families.

But I would say the biggest mistake that religions have made is presenting god as a separate being that is imposing its will on us. When actually we are god and we are imposing that will on ourselves. We are in control of reality. But we have lost our ability to be aware of our godly power and we have disconnected ourselves from our free will and have chosen denial and avoidance and demon possession instead.

‘Their way is the only way’ is, plainly speaking, indoctrination. Christianity gets the air for its sweep across the globe from maintaining that a single person/group of people are responsible for the morality of everyone which allows their Pope or Pastor full control over every believer and their wallet.
kind of genius when you think about it, they managed to capitalise on the one thing we can’t answer ourselves, with all the science in the world and just a niggling thought that this can’t be everything? The whole meaning of life.

One the very first pyramid scheme cults and wow have they worked it good.

More fiction.

A lot of people would like to think that for their own feeling of safety.

But you cannot runaway from the powers that be. There are many different characters in the world of the unseen that make you believe that your thoughts are your own. But when you have turned yourself off to your free will and your true self and you indulge in socialized chaos instead then you become a match to the characters that are orchestrating the chaos.

You can ask for demonic intervention subconsciously through your actions and your thoughts. They slide in through the opening of your fragmented mind and intensify whatever destructive behavior you have acquired through your unresolved traumas and issues. At the moment of trauma is where the real action happens.

Demonic intervention eh?

Boo.

Psychobabble is just that.

All we agree on is the supremacy of humans over the gods we have created.

Ease off on the rest of what you put.

Demons are a thing but they aren't an invasive force that control peoples' minds. They can only influence people who allow them to. Christianity overstates and distorts the scripture to lead its followers down a path since after all there's only one path you can go down with Christianity or else you're a secular person/sinner

I find it odd how Revelation paints the world as a sinister place and as the setting for an Apocalypse/Armageddon. Judaism explains that the Messiah will come once the Earth is nearly perfect, free from crime yet Christians say that they'll be saved from an impending doom. Either I missed the plot or something else is going on here

I read it as most Christians will take the wide road to hell while only the few will end in heaven.

If we are that free from crime/sin, then why kowtow to some genocidal god who will use his Armageddon on us?

Ooor, maybe satan is actually right.

I find it amazing how almost noone seems to ever wonder, what if god does exist, and the bible is generally true..... but the fallen angels were right, that this god is not worthy of our worship.

I basically think this way except the Satan part. Satan isn't real. It's just Lucifer from the Old Testament who's an ordinary demon. And not even saying these guys are real in the sense that we are, but more in an ethereal sense like having powers and psychic abilities in other dimensions. I take an atheistic approach to these things in that I can't explain what I've experienced so I accept it and learn as I go along

As far as I'm aware or concerned, God is simply a concept some hold onto to explain their reality and control it better. I've never seen God so I don't believe in Him. I'm not really a person who wonders about this stuff even if I find it interesting to study

What is a demon? A demon is a fallen angel.

Paul has very conflicted on a lot of matters and had trouble reconciling some aspects of the new covenant with humanity offered by Jesus on behalf of God with his upbringing as a Pharisee. Most notable is his deep conflict over the role and status of women and sexual morality (especially over homosexuals). He well understood that the literal acceptance of Christ's teachings meant that men and women were entirely equal and that free (sexual) love was entirely acceptable. He certainly worked with women on equal terms and used them (in a positive sense) in the pursuit of his mission to advance Christianity. Same with sexually licentious individuals. That is he worked with individuals on equal and non-judgemental terms. But he also understood himself to be on a civilising mission and wanted to advance a religious view that contained constraints that prevented anarchy and civil disruption. Particularly as he was prosletysing in what he saw as pretty wicked places.

So the bottom line was that he saw the fundamental spiritual or religious equality of man and women and heterosexuals and homosexuals as existing within a social construct that overall added to the common good. He believed that living as law abiding members of a community provided the best opportunity for the greatest number of people to live in a Christian manner (that is based primarily on love for another). Living as a community necessarily limited individual freedoms and required people to perform social roles (such as gendered roles) that interfered with or limited their individual freedoms.
