Is ketamine proven to make bipolar worse? I’d like to try therapy but my doctor won’t prescribe it. Would it be anymore dangerous then giving me Wellbutrin they makes my heart race sitting down. He seems to be fine with that but not ketamine. I do see him telemed. But I’m trying to find answers. Cause I’m always craving something to make me feel happier and more motivated

Ketamine isn't some miracle. Seems to be most useful in treating suicidal patients moreso than run of the mill depressed people.

I mean I don’t necessarily rule that out I can’t do it to myself but it doesn’t change that I sometimes wanna die just too coward to do it

Maybe look for a ketamine assisted therapy clinic. That’s what I did. It can be expensive though. I do it from home but I have to have a telemed therapy session once a month.

it’s working for me but I’m not bi-polar. I seem to recall reading it is now being used to treat bipolar now
