Hopefully going to be riding that oxytocin high myself again soon. I've met another one of those women that make me nervous. Any girl that does that to me always ends up being something worth my time. The gut just knows man.

Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Disconnected all internet and TV devices two months ago. Been reading a lot of books and working around our property. Got a ton of shit done and dropped my stress levels by a ton. It's true what they say: The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

Thinking about dumping most of what I have into the stock market, cashing out in a few years, selling off my land here, and buying a nice spread in Wyoming to build my forever home on. Want to move away from everything, get some animals, raise my own food, provide my own clean/filtered water and get mostly off the grid. Just need to get some decent internet run out there so I can continue to do my hobbies related to software. Want to find a girl that wants to have a bunch of kids and raise them in a place like that. Life is so much better when you aren't constantly being assaulted by social media and MSM. You guys are alright though I don't mind forums.

Buying a street bike soon. Going to ride it all over the local mountains and do long day trip. Just torn between a mostly-street bike and a dual sport (on and off road) bike right now. I need one where I can pack up all my camping stuff. Want to take a hammock, tarp, small camping kit, and just pull over and sleep in the woods wherever I want. Maybe see some people I know just from the internet and crash on their couch. Anything to meet more friends face to face instead of through just the internet.

My focus this year is over coming my social anxiety problems without drugs. I realized most of my drug use over the years came from that. Means I gotta start doing shit like dancing in public. I can't even dance in private lol always been too chicken shit to give it a try. I just want to get to the point where I can meet a new group of people and not spend the entire night being hyper aware of everything I'm doing and thinking.

I have sex almost exclusively in the mornings, it’s my favorite way to start the day.
My girlfriend on the other hand complains that it’s the only time we have sex and she wants it in the evening with a bigger lead up and more romance and foreplay than me just grabbing her boob and rubbing my penis on her vagina until it gets wet enough to slide in.

Do any of you know much about how drug patents work? I know you can't patent psilocybin for example, but are the PiHKAL and TiHKAL series of chemicals patentable for example? Just wondering, now that there seem to be all these psychedelics startups popping up talking about doing drug discovery and patents, where exactly the patentable drug-space lies.
 
I don't know much but I know a little. As far as I know, if something is published, then it cannot be patented. So in theory you can't patent the synthesis of any drug on PIHKAL or TIHKAL because they are already and are of public domain. But that's the other thing, I'm not even sure you can patent "a molecule", my understanding is that you patent procedures or use cases. So for example a new synthetic route could be patented. A new formulation, or a method for bulk production of a certain drug can be patented. Then probably a certain procedure for, say, drug assisted therapy could maybe patented? But I'm not sure about that last one.

Maybe what I'm saying doesn't translate well, I'm assuming it works similarly to biotech, a subject I work with. In my field you cannot patent a certain bacteria, or an enzyme for example, but you can patent a method for cleaning industrial waste from water using a specific microorganism. I guess it probably works differently because those are living things from nature, but then again if that logic applied, when you wanted to patent a certain molecule you would have to prove that it's not naturally occurring? I may be wrong.

My old science teacher quit his career in pharmaceutical drug discovery because of intellectual property law. When a company has a viable drug candidate, they hired teams of people like him to publish on every possible analog that a competitor might use. By doing so, they would enter the public domain and become unpatentable. In most cases without a patent, there would be no way for a company to have enough of a profit incentive bother with pursuing the expensive regulatory approval process. They apparently called it "pissing in the water."
 
Crazy day in the stock market world. Redditors are trying to force a giant hedge fund into selling all of their short contracts they expected to sell for like $10 a share, instead for $300+ a share, by getting hordes of people to buy and drive the price up (on GameStop stock, lol). Seems to be working so far. It's starting to be on the news and they're trying to scare people into panic selling. Apparently if they hold through Friday, then the institutional money is going to be out billions, which will instead go to all the regular people who held their stocks. Basically crowd manipulating the market, to fuck over the big money who is normally the ones who manipulate the market. I bought a few hundred dollars worth of another stock that they're talking about doing after Friday, that hadn't already gotten like 20x gains in a day or so, lol. So mostly I'm just watching, but I find it really fascinating.

I've put $1500 into the stock market over the past year and a half. My main stock is a weed company stock my friend is involved with, that's grown to 2.5x what I bought it at... bought a little more today in a dip. The rest, I'm being riskier with. My goal is to grow it into double, and try to keep growing it, and see what comes of it. Every time I grow it well, I can put half of the gains into more stable, less risky, slower growing stuff, and keep trying to find quick rides up for the other portion.

been away connecting with nature. Feel scattered and disassociated from the world. Trying to find the ground again. Was kind of hard to function socially been so spaced out over the last few days just lost in my own train of thought. But i kind of enjoy the empty minded feeling of been in outer space most the time as long as i dont have to interact with anybody.

Had a wicked dream that must of lasted for a hour and involved raving and some crazy drugs that don't exist in earth. The mind sure can come up with wild crazy things. I enjoy sleeping alot more than waking life when dreams are that wicked.

Tried to limit my social media use and just coming back to see wall street getting destoryed by the average person. fuck those bastards who fuck us in 08 time for the rising of the average joe to make money.

Actually it seems a little unclear to me which one is "next". Some people are talking about Nokia, and others are talking about Naked and also AMC. There is a ton of noise over there. Numerous trading platforms have disallowed buying of AMC, NAKD, and GME "for your protection".

Now those are the ones I'm looking to begin trials with. I'd jump to the front of the pack to do the first bio-essay of a psychedelic mined from an asteroid or gathered from a foreign planet...hopefully it fits in these receptors somehow...have a feeling it may as we are all just stardust anyways.

Wild day. Hedge funds are scared, so are holders. It's going back up in post market right now. Who knows man, I'm super interested in the whole situation. And invested like $1000 in, too (less than 1000 at the moment, heh).

Apparently someone synthed it and is calling it 3MeO-NBOME.
 
So I tried DPT about 3 months ago. I built it up in my mind that it was going to be a DMT trip (never done DMT) left me asking myself "that's it" lol. I guess if I would have free based it it would have been more intense. Had lovely trips with it but not at all what I was expecting. I was so nervous... 🤣
