I can tell you that my sex drive is at an all time high. And atm, I’m without a partner, which is difficult.

Working in urology has taught me that there is nearly no end to the number of options when it comes to erectile dysfunction. There are the pills of course, but there are lower tech methods that require no rx, like the pump, and there are surgeries, and there are injections, too.

@Rainman1964 above sounds a bit like me. I’m all about wearing pretty things to bed. And I like to read in bed, too, but I really love to read from those crazy Variations magazines or the Penthouse Letters that are oh so fake! That is totes hilarious! I always thought those letters were strictly for guys!
My favorite brother, who had a subscription to Penthouse while we still lived with my mom (!) used to claim that those letters were 100% true. He was like 20 then so he was a total dumbass.

I'm almost 40 and I haven't noticed any decline since my 20s. If anything (as others have said), I'm more comfortable with myself now sexually and more confident. I still wake up every day with an erection. I last longer in bed, I'm better at sex... and my dick has gotten a bit longer over the past 5 years.

I've had sex with men in their 60s and they've never had any problem getting hard. I never asked them if they popped a viagra beforehand, but I don't think so.

I noticed that circumcised guys as they get older have rougher skin on the head of their dick. I've since learnt that this is because of keratinization, which increasingly seen as the cause of most erectile dysfunction... but this is reversible.
 
for men that's definetely the case. The older you get the less testosterone you have, and testosterone is what fuels your sex drive.
An other factor might be that you aren't as handsome as you were younger. I find my self to find sex a lot more apealing when I am sexy myself, compared to periods i haven't taken good care of my self and i don't look good.
 
Straight male here. When I was in my 30s, 40s, and 50s I was always with women who were older than me by 7 or 8 years. That worked out GREAT for all concerned.
Now that I'm 62 and unattached I really don't think about sex much. If I were in a relationship I suspect things would be different.
