Herr @mokele, that was simply a fake-anger expression because you justify the making of an intellectual conversation. As you may very well gather, I was indeed looking forward to our conversation all my life, very seriously. That expression has nothing to do with what you have correctly pointed out about Göring.

That line written in Deutsch was to signify a contradiction, which is also an error we wound up making time and again, in our thinking and actions. I was not saying it literally but perhaps intended to be read literally.

You read about Dirlewanger? Like the Americans would say, ain't that a fūckin' man! Yeaaah.

How do you feel about Europeans being imprisoned regularly for free speech? People get imprisoned in Germany for merely questioning the Holocaust. You also regularly let pedophiles and serial rapists/murderers out after short terms in prison, if they serve anytime at all. America is flawed in many ways, but let's not act like Brits have some moral superiority here.

Your question is a valid one but the defeated were brought to their knees once before and whacked mercilessly, with undeniable cruelty, and without any sense of appropriation.

The French are the vengeful culprits who forced the Kaiser's abdication. If Wilhelm II was emperor no one like Hitler could have dreamed of power. The French were not happy about the lack of Alsace and Lothringen, nor could they excuse the hailing of Germany in the halls of the Versailles.

I always say Kaiser Wilhelm II gut, Franz Joseph I besser, und Maria Theresia am besten.

About a year ago Speer's daughter donated paintings from her father's collection to Jewish charities. The guilt feeling is unbelievable and overwhelming to this day. But ordinary Germans were made criminals by the West for being committed Christians.
