Objectophilia: People that love Objects

I watched a program recently about people that had romantic and sexual feelings for objects. While several people were portrayed, one woman really stood out to me. She drove a few thousand miles to purchase a rusty old carnival ride she used to operate, named it Bruce, and married him.
I will admit to having great adoration for a number of manmade structures, but my love for these is neither romantic nor sexual. I don’t think it’s wrong to feel that way and it certainly could eliminate hurt feelings, I have just never felt this way.
