It is true though there are people who dont recover. But those ones are reallu unlucky. Most people recover in a year. But of course if your stilk on the meds you wont be recovering.

whAt would dUde someone not to recover.?

My girlfriend is still having side effects of weight gains, she was 144 2 days ago, lost a few pounds back to 137, today this morning she was 120 and now its back up again to 144, she is working out, dancing and such, but still have a bloaty feeling.. i might think its pregnancy, but everything says its negative ( pregnancy tests and blood tests ) so im very unsure. and scared as shit. idk what to do or think she has been up and down with weightgains since she has started this medication from starting at 115, going up to 140 and then all the way back to 89 ..... im shaking and stressing while typing this message tbh

How does someone gain 24 pounds within a day? I mean, that's like a couple bowling balls of mass being added to your wife's body within one day, and that doesn't sound possible given your circumstances. Your wife obviously did not eat 24 pounds of food. If that's not the case, how is she gaining that much weight? I don't think she is. I think your scale is broken or something. I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you look at your wife and she doesn't look 24 pounds heavier than she did this morning.

im a female and i gained 60 lbs on this medication i went from 109 to 170. all the symptoms you are describing are caused by the medication. i also took a pregnancy test and it was negative. the drug makes your prolactin levels go up. prolactin is a hormone that pregnant women get. when your gf gets off the medication the side effects will slowly go away. Im a month off and im barely seeing a slight change. It takes time you have to be patient

It depends on how you define recovery. I mean, I've definitely recovered in some ways, but do I consider myself recovered yet? No. If we're defining recovery as feeling mostly to completely back to normal, then I would say that most people do recover.

I know that Invega Sustenna can cause tardive dyskinesia, which can be permanent in some cases. In those cases, those people may not completely recover from Invega, but they may recover in other ways. Outside of that though, I'm not sure if Invega permanently damages the body in other ways.

There are people who haven't recovered after years, like that Ross guy you've mentioned. However, it doesn't necessarily mean he's never going to recover, it could just be taking a long time for some reason(s). There was a guy here on Bluelight who I think took over 5 years to recover. But cases like that and with Ross seem rare.

Exactly, ive been in this situation 3 times and ive recovered from it two times and now its my 3rd time. It really takes a while. But if you go on youtube you can find people who have been on antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs who claim they have never recovered. The longer your on it. The harder it is to recover i believe

I’ve been getting nose bleeds a lot lately. I almost never gotten them before this shot. But now I do, has this happened to anyone else???😭🥺 I’m afraid it’s something serious

Yes she is almost 1 month off from medication, this morning she was 144 few hrs later she was 120 and right now it's back to 144. And she is feeling very insecure about it i mean of course who wouldn't after gaining visually that much within a day. I really hope it goes away sooner so she can feel happier and better

i can totally relate to how she is feeling i am going thru the exact same thing. Ive used different scales and have weighed different amounts. in six months to year from now the scale will hopefully go back to normal

@Ab33 psychiatry is one of the great evils of our time

@Finessinit I'm so sorry that's scary, I haven't experienced nosebleeds personally - you could go to the doctor and get a referral to a neurologist ?

I think @Heather01 had the right idea about a lawsuit. I don't know how or where to start. I want to file a class action or mass tort that proves it causes brain damage. It was proven to cause gynecomastia in men, it must be possible to prove neurological effects
