I really, REALLY didn't want to watch the video or get involved in this debate... I love my country, I hate cops and I hate racism...

the fact remains, though. Several cops surrounding you with tazers out commanding you to stop. You ignore them, and head for your car. You are surrounded by cops telling you to stop and you have now just given yourself POSSIBLE access to a weapon AND POSSIBLY may be considering using that car as a deadly weapon.

It's ugly, I don't agree with it, it was VERY excessive.... that's just the grim reality of the laws in this country

This "horse shit" is the creation of many years of abusive power, imo. It cannot be side-stepped as one would wish. One will find fear at the end of this tunnel, ime... just nothing to hold on to.
Reality? Is it possible to deny or ignore the shit that has been going on for untold (cause they trying to hide the fuckin facts, ma'am) how many generations? Do ya think the bull shit wont start to pile up and reek to the heavens (metaphor lol ) til someone starts cleaning up the mess?
Lets fact check, shall we? Lets leave the feelings behind and do a little unbiased research? A little analysis?

I know bro, I get it. Trust me, I do. But it's this simple nuance that makes cases like these impossible: police in this country can not escalate to deadly force for simple non-compliance alone. I think that is a topic that needs to be stressed and educated more with.

I understand there are certain scenarios where they have absolutely every right to use deadly force, and for most of the time, I'm fine with that.

It's when we get into these sensitive, nuanced scenarios where it's borderline discretion, an officer can hide behind "possibly reaching" - but the same discretion does not appear to be upheld the same from race to race.

The WI Attorney Gerneral today even conceded that even though they couldn't bring a case against the officer beyond a reasonable doubt, that doesn't mean they are approving of his actions. And, even went further, to talk about just how much change needs to happen.

It's a systemic issue, I truly believe that.

Absolutely. Systemic racism is a VERY REAL reality in the US. The average person in the US doesn't even know how deep it goes. It's unspoken, it's implied, it's a virus.

I also certainly question why they didn't just tazer him first instead of shooting him. Then again I'm no cop, I'm no lawyer... no police chief or what have you. My opinion is fairly uneducated, as with 99% of the other people who watched this video all around the world.

He should have been tazered sooner if anything....

but fucking shit man!! obey the police! fuck this breaks my heart just like every other cop murder porn video

I know I said something similar last night and hours later it all went to hell.

But, tonight is like a ghost town in Kenosha. A small group of protesters in front of the court house, the streets are eerily quiet and deserted. No sign of any armed civilians, whom were told they weren't welcome earlier by officials.

The calm before the storm, or was last night enough for everyone?

pistols, though.... I'm fairly sure a large portion of BL does not understand how difficult they are to accurately fire (even at close range)

Have you forgot research? lol, people on many political forums have already found out 1. he isn't even fucking white, he's hispanic 2. it's left eating it's own. 3. he got already fucking arrested.
Please, just do some real research. There's literally videos from like 20 different angles and there it can be pretty clearly seen what happened on this situation.
 
I'm having a very difficult time finding good footage of what led to the first, initial shooting.

I’d argue the opposite... Unless the person is an absolutely terrible shot any ricochets from the tire or wheel well will pop right back out at the officer.

Shooting at body height, it’s very easy to aim a little left or right accidentally hitting a kid or ricochets off the inside of the car much more likely to hit children.

They fucked up on this one, no way around it.
