Social Justice Jacob Blake shot seven times by white cop, paralyzed, may never walk again.

Maybe he was undercover? (That post was sarcasm by the way)
Yea, I picked up on what you were doing.

I know this isn't about me, but one last personal anecdote. The only time I have not complied with police was when I was somewhat drunk at the local state park with my dog off her leash (she never left my side and it was common practice for dog owners to gather here and let our dogs play).

Anyways this guy in plain clothes approaches me and flashes something from about 10 ft away claiming it's a badge, it was a very sunny day and I'm buzzed so I didn't get a good look at it. He says he's with **** police dept. and my dog needs to be on a leash. I tell him it's in my car and he tells me to go get it (at this point I sober up enough to realize that I just picked up a qp of trees and an oz of blow which is sitting in my trunk. So as we are casually making way back to my car I make a split second decision and take off running - just straight out sprinting through the open field, over a bridged Creek, cut back into the forest, cross the creek in the creek and then double back over it, except when I'm coming back through the creek the bottom drops and instead of sprinting through calf deep creek i am now up to my midsection in water and the force of me trying to run through it takes me down. I struggle to get up but by this time the officer is on the bank of the shore about 15 ft away. He closes the gap in two leaps, the second of which he uses me as a landing pad in which we get tangled up together.

He was steaming mad, beat the piss out of my ribs a bit (thankfully my dog didn't like water deeper than her ankles or I'm sure she would've bit him. He was impressed that she never left more than 10 ft from me for the whole 2 minute foot chase but he did say he would've shot me and my dog if it wasn't for the fact that he got his gun wet jumping on me in the water.... I think he was kidding in a pissed off kind of way, as he knew me from high school and I played soccer with his little brother for many years.

Anyways, they let me call a relative to come get my dog so they don't have to put her in the pound and bring me in.

My lawyer successfuly uses the fact that the officer was black, not in uniform, in a typically white neighborhood and told the judge I was worried for my safety and anyone can buy a semi realistic looking badge.

The judge was very clear in his sentencing that usually any resisting arrest from an officer, especially one that involves a tussle at the end almost always results him putting the person in jail for at least a week but under my circumstances he allowed me to just pay the offleash fine of 50$ or something.

Tl;Dr
Remembered the one time I didn't comply with police bc he was off duty and led him on a foot chase through the woods and water. Which ended up getting my arrested. My attorney convinced the judge that I didn't resist arrest bc the cop was black in a mostly white area. Got off bc I'm white and he was black and the judge agreed with my attorney.

P.S.
(talk about a good old boys club) - lawyers and judges have such an interesting relationship in my eyes, at least in the small town I grew up in, if you didn't pay for an atty to show up for you the outcome was significantly different for the same exact crime. Now, Im sure there is some technical work in writing they submit but it wouldn't make a difference if an individual in trouble wished to represent themself and drafted up the same documents. What they actually care about is that you paid his lawyer buddy to show up to court for 5 minutes wave at his old friend and be on with our day. They just want to make sure that the money stays flowing to the attorneys imo from my dealing with them over the years.

I'm not sure there is a point in here, other than it's early, I just woke up, and you triggered a memory of the event when you mentioned the undercover thing. While this touches on race and how that plays a role in the outcome of criminal proceedings. You can move this elsewhere or just delete it if it doesn't fit here..

Wait, are you saying exercising your constitutional right to bear arms makes you not peaceful ?

Or are you saying being charged with a crime in the past makes you not peaceful?

The crazed Trump supporter (terrorist) shot someone before the most widely circulated video starts. That's why people were chasing him. To prevent him from getting away with what he done. So instead of owning up to what he had done he decides to kill again and is then thanked/allowed to escape by Kenosha police (aiding and abetting a murderer).

Except I was taught by my father to comply with police and not just any jackoff in the street with a baseball bat...

We've never rly needed the badge to start unloading bud.

I maintain to this day that I'd rather get shot than have acid splashed on my face.

I was taught police are men, often uneducated ones, that are not to be trusted. You only comply long enough to get far away and reduce/eliminate any possible charges (of which just about every person on this site commits likely daily).

Now that’s just fucked. Not sure why you ran? Lol. Unless you thought he was gonna smell the bud. The very simple solution to this would have been to say, “yes I’ll go get the leash, no sir I don’t need you to escort me if you want to watch me you can I’ll be back in minutes with him/her on leash.” In my mildly drunken state that woulda poured out like poetry.

So I just arrived in WI (where I grew up) last night, I’ll be heading down to Madison or Kenosha for some protesting and will report back what I see.

I posted a vid a while back in the thread that shows the first altercation. He's being chased by someone and they're throwing something at him. Other than that I haven't really said shit. Just posting that pic that I found of one of the people that was shot.

Here's another...

Videos can be misleading right? Probably should wait til the full story comes out. The enraged murderous Trump fan probably done something to provoke whatever happened.

So did you watch the video showing some of what led to the first shooting?

What shocks me is how they let him go!!! Like what the fuck people!! I think we can all agree if he was black he woulda been shot on sight.

So what do you propose he should've done? Just let a violent mob kill him?

Don’t try to incite shit, how bout that? Pretty fucking simple. He could counter protested without the gun.

I’m all for open carry, I’ve even thought about doing so at these protests but have decided against it because it just makes others uncomfortable and in the long run causes tensions to only further escalate.

This kid wanted to pull that trigger, too much COD...

But, tonight is like a ghost town in Kenosha. A small group of protesters in front of the court house, the streets are eerily quiet and deserted. No sign of any armed civilians, whom were told they weren't welcome earlier by officials.

The calm before the storm, or was last night enough for everyone?

I believe a curfew was put in place.

Apparently what the first person that got shot was throwing was a molotov cocktail. This kids is going to be cleared I believe.

The first rioter who was shot in the head was chasing, charging, and throwing Molotov cocktails at Kyle Rittenhouse. Kyle first fired a warning shot which the rioter ignored. Second who got shot in the chest had hit Kyle in the head with a skateboard. The third who was shot in the arm came at Kyle with a handgun.

Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me anymore. Not after the white terrorist in South Carolina was delivered Burger King after he shot up that church.

YOU CAN TELL FROM THE COPS OWN BODY LANGUAGE THAT HE WASNT FUCKING SCARED FOR HIS LIFE

I can tell from the "COPS OWN BODY LANGUAGE" he was "FUCKING SCARED FOR HIS LIFE" by the way he is shaking, keeping the gun trained on the suspect as they walk around the car, and staying close enough to ensure he doesn't miss if he has to fire his weapon.

That doesn't mean his life is in danger, just that he is FUCKING SCARED. Should he be scared? Not from what I've seen, which reflects poor training-mental_state-awareness on his part.

I guess we read his body language different.
