ok so as we all know, many of us like myself use meth specifically to go on an absolutely long edging session. it was to my knowledge that doing that really fucks your dopamine receptors but honestly idc. is this because I don't do this regularly and typically use xanax and pot? Cause when I'm xanax or can find some morphine obvi idgaf about sex. I ask because I went on an 18 hour meth/porn binge yesterday and went through a gram of meth in that time. I'm also very new to meth I should add. I was definitely twacked. Don't get me wrong, best orgasm of my life. But when I was done i took a few mg's of xanax to stop the paranoia afterwards, passed out and this morning just smoked a bowl and i'm totally fine. I don't feel depressed at all?

Since I am new to meth, my dealer is always trying to make deals with me and I wanna know if some people just aren't effected by it? Meth/porn binges are not something I'd like to do often but when I have an entire day to kill and nothing else to do.... it is fucking great lol.

I stayed 8 months in fucking dark room after doing years of speed sulphate. I don't even do meth. But after that, i got better.
Nightmares, anxiety and my ability to concentrate got better as the time went on. Now good!

In all seriousness, a gram in a night even once a week is getting pretty serious. That is about what I use and I acknowledge that I have an increasingly serious problem. I am finding difficult to quit after about 6 months and I also frequently use meth for its sexual properties. The two sources of dopamine definitely compound each other. I would suggest you are heading towards problems, Both with meth addiction and with enjoying sex in the future without porn and drugs. Good luck.

This is something you don't hear talked about much. I used to watch porn a lot more often than I do now, and I started noticing difficulty staying aroused when having actual sex. And this was even before I started doing meth again.
I've got nothing against pornography for the most part, and I believe it's a healthy release in moderation. But in my case it was really the direct cause of my issue.
I think when you have an unlimited selection of just about any sex act that tickles your fancy, (you know, the perverted stuff a woman is never gonna sign off on IRL) available in 2 seconds online, it's gotta be doing something to that area of your brain pretty fast.

I can't imagine what these marathon jerk sessions+crystal meth must be doing to someone's neurochemical balance.

I guess it's normal for you and that makes sense to me. Maybe it increases your focus but you're already able to focus, so it's even better. I'm not normal so when I need to focus without getting tired, I use meth and then I'm like yeah okay, this is how it's supposed to be. No comedown

I guess if you're addicted to something you do while on a drug maybe check that out, but I don't see any issue here. I always like to keep track of time. I know that's an obvious one but it can help

That is not an easy question to answer for several reasons.

1. Everyone reacts differently
2. Every batch of meth seems to have somewhat differing effects on people thanks to different isomer proportions, impurities, and cuts
3. Over time everyone’s experience of meth changes with tolerance (some of which is permanent)
4. The Route of Administration (smoking vs eating vs shooting vs plugging) effects the experience

Personally, if I’ve had a break from it and start again I will experience a mild euphoria (never as high as when I first started), a great sense of concentration and focus and a huge boost in sexual energy and general excitement. However, for me it is also quite introspective and I don’t get a ‘speedy body’ wanting to get up and do stuff all the time or popping out of my skin with quivering energy like some people do. I don’t get jaw clenching or stuff like that either but I sometimes get cramps if I take too much and get dehydrated as well. Basically I find it a really good drug for being into myself rather than being social.

Nothing constructive that’s for sure. In all seriousness I don’t spend all my meth time doing that but it is one of the drawbacks of meth and another reason I am trying to quit. Given the price of meth and all the other things that need to get done in life, a $350 12-hour fap session is hard to justify more than once in a blue moon.

On the subject of porn and meth, I usually use it for half an hour or so to get my self revved up and then I switch over to my imagination and fantasies - seems to get better results and feels more active than passive. It’s been useful for exploring my unconscious sexual desires - I’ve quite surprised myself sometimes where my imagination has gone.

Like Atelier3 said, it varies a lot more once you get up there in experience with the stuff. But to put it simply, it turns all your bad feelings into really good feelings. Sufferers of ADD like myself who have ALWAYS had issues with self esteem, concentration, social awkwardness (big one), or depression, or all of the above, find it particularly helpful and thus more prone to becoming addicted to it. It calms the otherwise over active mind (temporarily) letting the person process everything without all the other mental noise.

Idk how common this is, but i didn't actually get high my first time using. I just remember feeling sort of zoned-out. Although on my second try, I can't convey the level of relief I felt when i first experienced the high. Like i'd just woken up for the first time in my whole life and was actually "present". I could talk to people about anything, I wasn't bored after 10 minutes of socializing and looking for an exit. I suffer from acute boredom. Idk if that's a regular symptom of ADHD or not but I've had it my whole life. That results in this mindset that every single hour of the day should be spent having "fun" somehow. Anyone can see how destructive that ultimately becomes. It's just not how life works. So it makes growing into adulthood that much more difficult and a normal 40 hr work week almost unbearable (but I still do it). My point is, meth/stimulants "correct" this part of your personality immediately. But there's a price. Nothing's free. At the very least, you're stuck living the rest of your life knowing this drug is out there and what it can do. I spent 13 years away from it, and it was always in the back of my mind more or less.
