Opioids Kratom Users - How much does brand / vendor differ in quality?

I have tried many vendors over the years including the low quality brands at my local headshop, when in a jam. My experience has taught me that almost always the kratom sold online is much MUCH higher quality. So much so, that i refuse to shop at headshops for kratom. My memory is a bit fogggy on this rule... But is sourcing vendors allowed here? As I'd love to help some small time vendors out. As I'm sure they'd be enthralled to be receiving new customers.

The whole kratom process is truly fascinating. It comes from the tree where the leaves are harvested, at which point they analyze what color vein the leaf has running down it's spine. So if it has red running down it's spine, then it's red vein kratom most likely. The older more mature kratom trees, often referred to as elephant, will tend to have huge leaves because they have been growing the longest. This results in an increase in mitrgynine levels in the leaves when extracted. Noww for the tricky part. The drying process. Most kratom leaves are spread out across huge tarps on the ground farmland for several days so that they may dry out. In more recent years people have discovered different drying techniques such as, string dry. Which if i remember correctly is where they string each leaf individually so that the leaves have more surface area exposed to the air as possible, versus piling 200leaves into a pile ontop of a tarp for day and hope they all dry out. Now there is yellow and gold strains... I believe they use a different drying method that requires the leaves to be left outside for many day in the sun. Onto Bentuangie, one of my favourites.if you're looking for sedation/relaxation, great pain relief then this string is for you. Bent, or Bentuangie for short...is by far the best at pain killing. It's cultivation requires that the kratom leaves become firmented for several day.

Anyways to wrap this up. If you're looking for chill mode around the house with opiate like sensations, I'd go for a good vendor that sells high quality Bentuangie.

Good description of each strain. Thank you for that. My personal favorites are white Maeng Da for energy and clarity. Red Bali for relaxation.

I tried one white vein strain many years ago and didn't like it. If I remember correctly, I experienced a lot of anxiety. But that was when my tolerance was much much different, so perhaps it's time to give them another shot, as I have grown very fond of stimulating green strains.

Yea. The best thing to do is start with just small doses. You can work your way up until you hit your "sweet spot". Usually works for me...cheers

I agree. Being addicted to kratom sucks because it isnt fun to begin with but the withdrawal sucks and comes on fast. I feel like it has to be dosed every 4-5 hours. Its the most crack like of opioids yet with a shitty gritty high.

Worst opioid hands down. Useful as landing gear when youve gone for too long of a run on real opioids. I wouldn't take kratom recreationally, only to get off something else.

That said perhaps an extract every once in a while is ok i guess if nothing else is available. Two OPMS capsules (which equates to 160mg of mitragynine, or around 50mg of morphine) with no tolerance is a nice buzz, but only infrequently and honestly its only good for the first 1.5 hours, then the side-effects and irritability become more of nuisance.

The best euphoria ive had is from powdered leaf, but i can count on two hands the number of memorably enjoyable kratom highs...
As a former IV addict of both stimulants and opioids, i find kratom to be sufficiently euphoric to allow me to lead a normal life without constantly feeling the ache of craving my former days,

But then again, i find the feeling of being in wd and then getting out of it to be inherently satisfying, such as in the case of nicotine, which provides basically no effect besides the relief of some abstract craving-

Going from to sick to well just feels good, even on a milder opioid, perhaps more so, since the depths from which you are pulled are just more manageable overall,

It makes it harder to take a shit and reduces my creative drive, so I plan to cycle off, but it gives me way more joy to live this way than it would be to be in full blown addiction or fully sober. Its one of the better middle grounds I have found. But also, the consistent euphoria only comes if i take 3.5g per dose, if i creep above that there are no more returns. I must stay within a narrow sweetspot, but that spot can actually be pretty sweet.
