@CFC it’s been a while since I’ve visited the forums and I came on a whim but I am glad that I did because I appreciated your mention of splitting a dose with liquid. After some quick research I learned that lisdexamphetamine demesylate is highly soluble in water - 792 mg/mL!! (Most likely at 25 and that taking the dose spread over a few hours could help prevent a overly exaggerated come up and come down before the intended tapering off of the medication.
You mentioned that you are 30 years old. How long have you been taking ADHD medications? I’m am 31 and have been clocking “pre high BP” numbers (120-130/70-90) consistently. I’m 5’11” and take either 30 mg Vyvanse, 40 mg Vyvanse or 5-20 mg Adderall IR per day.
What are other people’s experiences? Maybe this is the wrong place to chime in in this regard.
Anyways, drinking your Vyvanse over the course of a few hours, instead of taking it all at once, seems like it could be a viable solution to problems with duration. Always talk with your doctor about your medication situation!! No buzz is worth having a heart attack over and dying because of!!
