Hi everyone, I hope you all are well during these times :)

I'm in recovery from alcohol addiction and am 420 daily since 1994. 2001 I discovered drum n bass and jungle which led to years of raving, happy high times.

I sporadically use dexies to ride a bigger wave. I am a research nerd exploring innovation in mental health and addiction services, particularly people who are incarcerated. I look forward to learning from Blue light members and research :)

That's good that you want to help others, and especially those that are incarcerated.
I work with department of corrections clients on a daily basis and one of my goals with them is to teach them the difference of holding others accountable Vs snitching,and with some of them they think that they are both the same, while with others they are starting to come around, which is great.
Alcohol was my shit too, I just loved the shit. I'd rather have a bottle of vodka then I would a bag of dope, and it's good to hear people relate to that.(:

Thanks Madness, yes re this or that, it's a fun time passer :)

Weed daily but not abused is terrific for my bipolar, along with medication; in my sever case of type 1. In a few of words; 420 helps everything. But it can be harmful if I skip meds and hit green hard, but this applies to all drugs; they can help or cripple you if abused imo.
 
Welcome! You're a research nerd, that's very interesting! What is the current topic of research regarding mental health that caught your fancy recently?

Damn... that is a weird combo but then we have to go into defining shit and am not up to it ATM as @Gnostic Bishop threw me for a loop recently and am just recovering. :) ^^^ Bring it; don't sing it. hahaha

I think the weed is more weird than any of us but then again where is the separation of we/ed?
