To a point, I agree but its also a long way down to either self-hatred or abandonment of the class struggle. I can't choose not to participate in capitalism because I have to eat. And while I struggle to maintain the most democratic and non-exploitative life I can I know that I participate in an exploitative political economy because its the only choice I have. But class critique, communism, and anarchism isn't just a call to recognize the problems and separate ourselves from them, its also a call to participate to change and like it or not, if I can't feed myself or help support others in solidarity then I've just given up. Sure, we're all hypocrites and in Europe and America that's only too obvious but participating isn't conceding to the deprivations of it.
That does mean its my responsibility to further the means that lead towards further solidarity and to minimize enabling those who extract our labor but its also my responsibility to be able to afford the oil stones to sharpen the guillotine.
