Pregabalin + Clonazepam = synergy?

Hello all.

The combination of Gabapentinoids and Benzodiazepines have always fascinated me because they work in similar ways. Has anyone got any experience in combining Pregabalin and Clonazepam (or any other benzo)? I've got both drugs but I've never co-administered them, what type of effects should I expect if I took a generous dose of each drug together?

I've found Pregabalin takes hours to fully kick in but when it does it gives me a drunken feeling similar to alcohol and occasionally its put me on my ass.. but in a nice way lol.

I'm prescribed Oxycodone, Pregabalin, Clonazepam, and Mirtazapine, but I've never taken them all together in one dose as im too scared to lol.

The Oxycodone and Pregabalin are prescribed to me for chronic neuropathy, and the Clonazepam is prescribed me to for severe GAD. I feel extremely lucky being prescribed Clonazepam as it's nearly impossible to get a benzo prescription in the UK. They're called Rivotril in the UK as opposed to Klonopin in the US.

I take 1mg in the morning and 1mg at night so thats 2mg daily and they're a god send for my GAD. My normal dosing routine for my meds is...

30mg Oxycodone 4x a day, 50mg Pregabalin 4x a day, and 1mg Rivotril twice a day (the first dose is when I get up in the morning, and then the second dose at night when I go to bed). Im also prescribed 15mg Mirtazapine taken at night with my second 1mg Rivotril dose. I always space my dosing evenly.

So to conclude should I expect severe intoxication if I took my Pregabalin + Clonazepam in a generous dose minus the Oxycodone as thats asking for trouble!

I do enjoy the mixture of Clonazepam and pregabalin. To I'm on a fairly low dose I still feel pretty good. (Better than in screaming agony that's for sure). On top I have 40 mg or dilaudid. I have never had a problem 10 years plus. (I have swapped from Fentanyl to Dilaudid which has been much better) I have had many tests and am still as good as I was when I started. (In fact my liver is way better since - I stopped drinking so much!)
 
Certainly don't do this on a weekday, save it for the weekend, but yes mixing clonazepam and pregabalin will have you proper mashed. Pregabalin and benzos have a strong synergistic effect. You will be unable to function fully the whole day, but it's great for watching shite on telly and ordering pizza, those kinds of lazy weekends. Some weed on top completes it.
 
Well I took 6mg Clonazepam and 400mg Pregabalin cos I needed a blow out as I've a shitty week. A few hours after I took them I found myself asleep in my computer chair lomp sided over the right arm rest which was digging into my ribs which was extremely painful when I woke up lol. So yeah they do synigise!
 
Last night I took 80mg Oxycodone IR, 6mg Clonazepam, 500mg Pregabalin, and 100mg Diphenhydramine (for potentiation). I would of had some Grapefruit juice as well but I didn't have any. First I took the Pregabalin cos it takes hours to kick in for some strange reason even on an empty stomach! Once it fully kicked in I took the other 3 drugs together and I probably had the best high of my life, way more Euphoric than any street drug that ive taken and I didn't break the law either cos they're all prescribed to me lol. It was absolute bliss!! I was that out of it I felt like I was in a dream-like state but conscience (barely lol) I was hallucinating and talking to my self lol. If heaven exists then I think I experienced it lol! Don't worry about the dosages guys I've got a very high tolerance and I know my limits plus I only do this sort of thing occasionally as its not very sensible and I would run out of my scripts early, however I would NOT recommend anyone take those kinds of doses if uve got no tolerance, even a mild to moderate tolerance would still be quite dangerous!

It's Wednesday morning and I already took rx dextroamphetamine sulfate 40mg, 450mg pregabalin, 6mg Clonazepam, 60mg ir oxycodone (6x10mg ) 30mg temazepam capsule, 2mg tizanidine, and I'm in the back of an Uber on my way to my methadone clinic to get my 116mg dose. I didn't sleep last night because that dexamphetamine sulfate almost feels like mdma but it's so freaking clean. it's much better than Adderall which I was on but switched because I was sick of the agitation and restlessness it caused.

Anyways since I broke my ribs I've been kinda lucky because my Dr started me on roxicodone 15s every 4hrs for 3 weeks and lowered it to 10mg ir this past week. I haven't hardly felt any euphoria from 100mg ir doses and it's most likely because of the chronic methadone exposure. Methadone is a powerful opioid. it binds tightly to the MOR. but my methadone started to wear off so i took my last 6 and a few Klonopin and I'm high. I'm pulling in the clinic to dose now. i bumped it up to 180mg IR oxycodone with 600mg pregabalin , 116mg Methadose (the pink liquid that is mostly red die #33 & red die #40 with Methadone HCl about 5mg per ml and it shoots out of a straw in the side of their computers. you'd be surprised how concentrated it is. a little puddle at the bottom of a tiny plastic Dixie cup is over 100mg.

The pregabalin seems to be the best methadone potentiator next to dxm. has anyone ever taken opioids at the tail end of a dxm trip? I was withdrawaling from 85mg Methadose a day for over 3 years at my first clinic because they tried to say i was selling Xanax in the parking lot and gave me a7 day detox. I got so sick i couldn't even imagine breathing the weather to try to cop heroin or benzodiazepines because at that point in my life i was heavily dependant on Xanax bars. I was about 21, I'm 45 now.. Moved on to Clonazepam 1mg Teva x 4 a day and 30mg Temazepam capsules at night. i switched from Adderall 20mg IR to Dextroamphetamine sulfate 20mg twice daily. IMO there is not a stimulant other than methamphetamine or methylaminorex (mind blank but i think it's 4mar or something) that are more euphoric than dex (that guy could get legally at the pharmacy anyways. It's the closest Rx to molly that I've ever had. it's extremely clean feeling.. it doesn't give you that annoying body load, inconvenient libido through the roof, or jitter loaded crash that Adderall almost individually are going to get. talk about euphoria, it probably feels like that limitless drug. when I take 4 x 20mg I get so high and it feels so clean that I could blow ai's mind at points. now with 116mg methadose, 4mg Clonazepam, and 600mg lyrica, I'm feeling on top of the world. Lyrica is the best drug by far for coming down off stimulants, leaving a clear path for the potent Clonazepam to come through and scalp any stimulants. If I didn't pass out soon I'm doing to roll a blunt of medical cannabis. 3 strains: 1. Shadowberry 2. Garlic Cookies aka GMO 3. purple octane x jealousy 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 oh man it's fire, also have a gram of Jealousy RSO and a 10mg IR Zopiclone. I rationalize this heavy handed mixture due to fractured ribs that are the most painful thing I've ever been through, oh ya i forgot i also have tapentadol 200mg IRs . i think I'm going to pass on those, however because they have strong NRI properties which I don't imagine mixing well with potent
d amphetamine sulfate (Dexedrine) aka GO PILLS for the USAF and the temazepam capsules 30mg IR (Restoril) aka NO GO PILLS for in between high stress missions that require sleep, and the Dexedrine (used by Japanese Kamikaze pilots, Hitler, US Army/Air Force, et al) Go Pills which turned a civilized group of enlistees into blood thirsty barbarians
