Yeah... used to listen to her decades ago. so much music in the world. drives me nuts but it is inspiring what people have to express in an intimate way (they give their all and dead)....
some music brings bad shit to the forfront and i have to choose music wisely. sounds like some ol bullshit and wish it was. its a bitch when in public and the house music is playing and a song comes on and breaks me down for a minute. most times i leave. hey... C'est la vie, eh?

It's kinda funny. I've been slowly getting into Jazz music as I get older (and try more drugs) but I had no idea who John Abercrombie was until I heard this rap song a while back. The sample was so mellow and relaxing. I HAD to find out where it came from.

And yes, that's a young ass Kendrick Lamar if anybody was interested to hear how he sounded before he blew up lol

I can relate 100%
One of the women from my past who I truly loved & still all these years I'm not over her is forever linked in my mind to certain bands & music, I cannot listen to Radiohead - Amnesiac album without a tear or two. Same for Placebo - Meds too.

Biggie IMHO was amazing, his miles above that 2 Pac.
The thing I find with Biggie & the same goes for a lot of famous rappers so many people mention his name & when they say it around me I'll ask them about his tracks, the amount of times they can only name the odd two or three & they get shamed is crazy. They always come out with "Hypnotize" right away & then you know you're dealing with an idiot, if someone asks me I always name "Suicidal Thoughts" right away as that track I just love, I had it as my ringtone for ages as I understand it too well.

The first 50% of the lyrics of that song I can relate to 100%.
