I thought similar. At 16 my lad was still off out playing footy etc with mates all the time

A year later he's seshing every weekend. By 18 all over the country (freeparty dj etc) partying heavily.

To be fair, him and his crew (mid 20's now) have got a miles better handle on harm reduction etc than we ever did bitd (not difficult I know :)

I also get the "you're too old to take drugs" on the regular from my still-teenage daughter - we'll fookin see about that..,
 
Some Aussie rapper who claimed to be eating 100 nurofen plus every day went on a public crusade to have sales more heavily regulated after his story of woe and hardship touched the hearts of politicians with an equal amount of common sense.

Codeine is now a prescription only drug here while being a complete fucking goonsack with zero accountability seems to sell records and remains perfectly legal :cautious:

Yeh, I really don't understand this attitude that only young people take drugs. Nobody ever says "You're too old to drink beer and smoke fags" do they? When I got busted for growing weed a couple of years ago, people were asking my Mrs if i was having a mid life crisis! No, i just fuckin like smoking weed FFS...
 
Midlife crisis :LOL::LOL::LOL: did your neighbors snitch on you? I can't imagine getting busted here in romania with plants and getting away with it, if I would have some plants and the neighbours would catch up with the smell they would snitch 100%, even would have wet dreams about it.

For an exterminator you would've thought that you can handle the rats :ROFLMAO:

Sat outside at 6:50am on a lovely warm misty Monday morning, burning wood in the incinerator, coffee, fags and vodka. Can't believe how quiet it is. If I close my eyes I can imagine I'm out in the country, rather than stuck in a shitty northern town.

Now it's starting to rain...


Oh well, at least it's payday tomorrow - then its drugs ahoy...! =D
 
People ask me recently why I wake up at 5 am, my response is that by the time competitors wake up I got a 3 hours start in advance

But the truth is, by the time other people wake up I'm already off my nuts on tramadol

Till this year I always had problems waking up because I would try to sleep 10-20 min more rather than wake the fuck up till I realised that if I get out of the bed quickly and I take my dose I am as good as new, the tramadol kinda acts as an upper at the beginning anyway. It's a discipline kind of thing, but I can't stay up till 3 am as I did when I was waking up during the noon you can imagine that, at 1 am I force myself to sleep, but a lot of times I can do it much sooner as work exhausts me anyway

I feel you on the discipline part same with me and my adderall I force my self to go to sleep at a certain time everyday
 
It just dawned upon me now I've seen all series 1 & 2 of the Netflix Narcos I can at least have something in common with the average person in the way of we both now know about Columbian Cumbia music.

I gotta borrow series 3 off my Zopi source now as I want to see the downfall of Cali, credit where it is due to the people that made this series as they kept it 100% true, I was expecting something really "Hollywood" if I'm honest but nope they kept it true to life & the way Los Pepes are shown was damn true.

Knowing that pervert F.U.B.A.R. he will be watching it now & making Mrs FUBAR dress & dance like this around him as he watches over his Marijuana farm empire & plans my downfall.

Haha exactly the same here mate! During some discussions I've had people ask me if I'm a doctor or pharmacist just because I mention GABA receptors for example. Which is not unexpected from laymen because most people don't have that level of drug knowledge, but what I'm especially proud of if actual medical professionals, even doctors, in fact even consultants, have asked if I am a doctor, most recently because of the advice I gave my gran about her pain meds.

I was messaging her in hospital because she was on bupe, she wanted to know why she wasn't being given other painkillers above paracetamol to replace it since the bupe was tried one-off and didn't work for her, and I explained how it has a long half-life and a very strong binding affinity so the doctors need to wait around 24 hours before administering other opioids.

She mentioned this to her consultant who asked how she knew so much, she said her grandson, he then asked if I was a doctor!

Had a bit of a debate with a nurse about codeine as well, because I was chatting to a mate about using it for a cold. She butted in and said codeine doesn't help colds. I'm said but it has antitussive and analgesic properties, it absolutely does treat cold symptoms which is why it's sold in cough medicine. She obviously didn't expect me to know that shit ?

Like you I've had people tell me I should be a pharmacist but I wouldn't do much good as a pharmacist really, if someone asked me about statins or antibiotics I wouldn't have a clue, and the moment the manager went out I'd start necking the Oramorph.

When I was younger I thought that if I would be a pharmacist I would dispense mad quantities of stuff without script, now I would ask about the script even for a cocodamol.

I could do the nurse post-school course of 3 years and work in a pharmacy easily, my pharmacist told me he would hire me easily but I'm gonna say pass on being a store clerk with a fancier title
