It blocks the reuptake of dopamine so the antagonized receptors have more free dopamine to work with. It helped with depression, anxiety, insomnia and many more side effects that invega caused me. I really recommend trying it.

Has anyone else experienced a labotomy to your brain after being injected? I'm kind of experiencing like a bad acid trip. I feel really fatigued, stressed, no motivation, very severe major deppression, i cry allot and i get really scared leading to suicidal thoughts. I've been off of invega for 7 months now after only 3 shots. How much longer is this poison going to last? Has anyone experienced these symptoms?

And why were you put on it to begin with

It’s probably going to be a very long time to get off these meds....
13years is a long time....
I wonder if we should just get back on it...
I wish I could talk to someone who’s been on it longer
 
Just don’t understand how others are recovering and I’m a year n month out with no real improvement

What exactly are your symptoms? Are u suffering from severe deppresion? What did the injection do to you that it's hurting you this long? I've been off the shot for nearly 8 months and I still have deep deep dark deppression that started after my first injection. Other side effects are like I'm having a bad acid trip, I had akathesia for six months unbelievable! And I gained 60lbs. Not motivated, lack of energy, and I'm in bed all day. No job. It's sad I just stare at the walls all day. I feel like it's going to be a very long journey. Possible some permanent side effects but there's nothing I can do about it. Let me know what are you experienceing as far as symptoms and side effects. Thanks an good luck stay strong

No thoughts, no emotions, low libido, no appetite can’t get hungry, can’t cry, don’t feel motivation or desire. Same effects from the beginning only thing that has changed is I’m able to sleep now.

At least your not deppressed. I hope things get better. I feel I'm the same position as you. IDK if I'll ever recover from this really.
 
By the way guys. I forgot to mention this before but if you want some tips to help your brain recover from Invega once it gets metabolised try to stop eating carbs and sugar.

Eat lots of fats such as butter, olive oil, coconut oil and avocado.

Avoid omega 6 found in cooking oils, nuts and seeds. You can eat some cashew nut and macadamia which are very low in omega 6.

Eat fatty fish like sardines, mackerel, herring and salmon for the omega 3.

Try natural substances which have been shown to have cognitive effects like turmeric power, ginger powder, cocoa powder, sage tea, rosemary tea, ashwaghanda and ginseng. Also, eat liver regularly because it contains a lot of nutrients which get depleted by Invega.

Thought I would come in and post an update. A couple of days ago I had what can only be described as s miraculous turn for the better, as I had a complete day of euphoria, happiness, positive feelings, oneness with the universe and absolutely bundles of energy. I even tried to go for a run, but my body couldn’t handle it because of all the smoking I’ve been doing, which I’m now trying to cut down from.

I didn’t do much to stimulate this difference except drink an extra shot of espresso and a health drink with a bit of cbd oil, and went for a long walk listening to some good tunes. I honestly felt on top of the world, I couldn’t believe it! It was like pre Invega and even a bit better if that’s possible. Like me on one of my best days pre Invega.

I have no idea how this can have happened in just under 3 months after my first shot. The euphoric feelings have since subsided but I will be experimenting again tomorrow with the shot and drink. It may have been like a massive window but I’m feeling optimistic, as everything else (ie cognitions and energy) seem to be continually improving. My negative emotions seem to also be coming back and I keep feeling random things for no reason (sadness,fear etc) for absolutely no reason. And deeply as well. We’ll see where this goes, I’ll keep you all updated.

I’ve been taking niacin too.

I would say it felt like I’d taken some kind of happy drug, that’s honestly how happy I felt. Laughing fits as well for no reason. Everything just looked so beautiful, like on a trip.

Praying for more days like this, and I’m sure they’ll come!

I’m more concerned about our journey since it’s in the 10+years
